"Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro is honoring the memory of Apple CEO Steve Jobs in the tastiest way imaginable -- with a GIANT 18" Mac-themed cake.
Valastro -- a self-professed Apple geek -- tells TMZ, he baked the black-and-white cake with chocolate fudge this morning ... and will be displaying it in a refrigerator in his New Jersey bakery this afternoon.
Sadly, it's not for sale -- but if Apple wants it, we're told Buddy will happily donate it to one of their stores.
"Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro revealed a Christmas secret even darker than devil's food -- there are better holiday desserts than the rich desserts that made him rich and famous!!
Buddy tells TMZ ... his family won't be dining on cake during their Xmas dinner tonight because, "All of the other desserts are so good!"
So what overtakes the cake -- Buddy explains, "For dessert we usually do tiramisu, cannolis, pumpkin pie, chocolate covered strawberries and of course our famous Carlo's Bakery cookies."
In fact, nobody will get a "Cake Boss" cake this Xmas -- Buddy tells us he's officially closed his shop for the day.
Buddy Valastro from TLC's "Cake Boss" is criss-crossing the country on a cake tour in a primo tour bus -- which begs the question ... does he have to beat cake groupies off with a really big stick?

"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro will get to keep his famous nickname -- after settling a big, fat lawsuit with a software company which claimed Buddy ripped off its copyright.
A rep for TLC tells us the network just reached a "confidential settlement" with Masters Software Inc. -- which claimed it had been selling a cake management computer program for bakers also named "CakeBoss" ... and they started long before Buddy's show came along.
But now that the two sides hammered out a deal -- we're told Masters will continue to use CakeBoss for its computer software and TLC will continue to use the name for the show and for merchandising.
Dressed in his yellow jail uniform -- "Cake Boss" co-star Remy Gonzalez strolled into a NJ courtroom this morning ... where the man accused of sexually assaulting a minor learned that he will face a grand jury.
As we first reported, Gonzalez -- who is married to "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro's sister -- was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child after his August 18 arrest.
During a brief hearing in New Jersey today, the judge decided to refer all charges against Gonzalez to a grand jury -- which will ultimately decide whether the case will go to trial.
TMZ has learned one of the stars of "Cake Boss" has been arrested for sexually assaulting a minor.
According to law enforcement sources Remy Gonzalez is currently being held in Morris County Jail in New Jersey ... he's been there since August 18 when cops arrested him.
Officials tell us Gonzalez -- who is married to "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro's sister -- is charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. He's being held on $300,000 bail.
A rep for TLC, which airs "Boss" says, "We support Buddy and the Valastro family during this very difficult and challenging time .... and as this doesn't involve us, we will not be commenting any further."
