Gwyneth Paltrow showed up to the
Academy Awards wearing what looks like the remains of
Celine Dion's infamous backward white tuxedo from the '99 Oscars.
We're just sayin'.
Celine Dion isn't waiting for the coroner to give an official cause of death for
Whitney Houston because she apparently knows what killed her ... drugs.
Speaking to "Good Morning America" today via phone, Dion wasted no time pinning Houston's untimely passing on drug abuse. She told Robin Roberts, "Whitney has been an amazing inspiration for me ... It's just really unfortunate that drugs, bad people or bad influence took over. It took over her dreams. It took over her love and motherhood."
Dion immediately linked Houston's death with other famous people who died from drugs. She went on to say, "When you think about Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse, to get into drugs like that, for whatever reason. Is it because of the stress and bad influence? What happens when you have everything?"
A cause of death has not yet been determined, but sources close to Houston's family tell TMZ
the coroner has told them she died from Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol.

Celine Dion was the victim of a fridge-raiding burglary yesterday, according to police -- after a man was arrested inside her Montreal mansion while munching on pastries ... and trying to take a bath.
According to CBS News, 36-year-old Daniel Bedard has been charged with breaking and entering, auto theft, and causing property damage -- after the man allegedly stole keys from Celine's husband's car ... and used them to break into the singer's house.
Bedard tripped the alarm in the process and police raided the home -- catching him while he was making himself a bath.
Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova said, "He opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish
bath (and) he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the fridge."
Di Genova continued, "The suspect was coming down the big staircase and was asking: 'Hey, guys what are young doing here?'"
The officers arrested him on the spot.
Celine Dion's newborn twin boys -- who have been in an incubator since their birth this past weekend -- have now been released from the hospital ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the boys are "healthy" enough to be cared for at home -- so the docs at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL gave Celine the green light to take the kids home last night.
As
we first reported, Dion gave birth last Saturday -- at the time, her boys only weighed around five pounds.
Celine Dion gave birth to twin boys today ... a rep for the singer tells TMZ.

We're told she gave birth at 11:11 AM -- and then again at 11:12 AM -- at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.
One boy was 5 pounds, 4 ounces -- the other was 5 pounds, 10 ounces. We're told they are “100% healthy but will be in an incubator for a few days.”
42-year-old
Celine Dion -- who's 8 months pregnant with twins -- has checked into a hospital in Florida this morning in an effort to prevent a premature birth.

A rep for the singer told the AP that Dion is at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla ... and insisted Celine decided to admit herself to ensure that she's around her doctors until the delivery.
Dion and her husband
Rene Angelil have one 9-year-old son.
UPDATE: The hospital has released a statement saying they will "enhance" security during Celine's stay ... but insist the family did not pressure officials into making the decision.

Plus:
Celine Dion pregnant with twins ... and is
Heidi and
Spencer's break-up one big publicity stunt?
Celine Dion is literally drowning in money -- so much so, that she just built a massive water park in the backyard of her equally massive Florida mansion.

TMZ has obtained a photo of Dion's $20 million mansion on Jupiter Island -- which is where some of the richest people on the planet live ... and where
Tiger Woods is also constructing an oversized estate.
Included in Dion's ridiculous setup -- a huge pool, lazy river and a water slide.
Because why not?

A guy who's allegedly stalking Celine Dion is now under psychiatric evaluation. Yeah ... that sounds about right.
Police arrested the 41-year-old man outside the Canada home of the singer following an incident where he allegedly rang the buzzer at Dion's mansion and demanded to speak to her. When cops showed up, he was gone ... but they arrested him a short time later when he intelligently showed back up for seconds.
According to
CTV.ca, the man is now under psychiatric evaluation and is due back in court on Monday to face charges for harassment.
Celine Dion looks hot. There. Said it. Moving on.

Unlike her music, Celine Dion doesn't suck.

There must have been about 200 fans outside her hotel in NYC yesterday, and even the "Greatest Singer in the World" made time to sign for as many as possible. Take that,
Daniel Radcliffe!
