Infamous mass murderer
Charles Manson just lost his last real shot at freedom ... the parole board just denied his latest request for release.
The hearing took place at Corcoran State Prison in CA...where Manson-- who was convicted of 7 murders in 1969 ... including
Sharon Tate's-- was previously denied parole 11 times.
Now ... at the ripe old age of 77 this is most likely the murderer's last stand...since his case cannot be heard again for another 15 years ... putting him well into his 90s.
Only one Manson Family member convicted of murder has been paroled -- Steve Grogan--who was granted his freedom in 1985 for aiding the authorities and good behavior.
If you recall...Manson was originally sentenced to death in 1972 but it was commuted after the California death penalty was declared unconstitutional.
Now that
Lindsay Lohan is hoping to land a role in an upcoming
Charles Manson movie ... the actress spent her Sunday night with a dude who named himself after the psychopath.

Lohan and anti-Christ superstar
Marilyn Manson kicked it together at the DeLeon Tequila Anniversary party at the
Chateau Marmont in Hollywood ... and no, we're told Lohan didn't touch the booze.
FYI -- Manson has also stated he wants a role in the upcoming
Tyler Shields flick, "
Eyes of a Dreamer" ... but so far, nothing has been confirmed.
Who'da thunk --
Marilyn Manson wants a part in a movie that could soon be starring
Lindsay Lohan ... TMZ has learned ... a biopic about infamous psychopath
Charles Manson.

Sources connected with the movie tell us, Marilyn approached director
Tyler Shields about playing Charles Manson's right-hand man
Tex Watson ... who was convicted of several Manson murders, including the death of
Sharon Tate.
As we first reported, producers are currently considering Lindsay for the role of Sharon ... but Lindsay hasn't officially signed on just yet.
According to sources, producers "love the idea" of casting Marilyn as Tex ... and are seriously considering the proposition.
Charles Manson's lawyer has just sent a fax to
President Obama, asking for mercy.
Giovanni Di Stefano -- known as "The Devil's Advocate" -- tells TMZ, he wants the Prez to set Manson free.
Di Stefano -- who has also repped the likes of Saddam Hussein -- says Manson was nothing more than a cult leader, not a murderer -- Manson didn't do the killing. Di Stefano says at worst, Manson is guilty of telling his followers to "do something witchy" -- never specifying murder.
Di Stefano complains, "Manson has been made out in America to be the Satan of the criminal justice system. He does not deserve the title."
He's 76 years old, but infamous slaughterer of people
Charles Manson is still quite the lady killer ... in fact, TMZ has learned Chuckie got an early
Valentine's Day prison visit from a special female.

Officials at California State Prison, Corcoran tell us the visit occurred on Sunday morning -- the day before V-Day -- because no visitors are allowed during the week.
We're told Manson is "very choosy" about who he meets with -- and rarely accepts visits -- but for some reason, he gave the green light to spend time with a certain lucky lady.
Officials wouldn't reveal the woman's name -- but we're guessing she probably wasn't Jewish ...
Harvey,
Mike,
Max and
Rick were on live today -- where they answered questions on the
Heene family's past run-ins with the law, went on a random
Charles Manson tangent and hit on Harvey's "pathetic" book sales.
Plus -- how our
Mel Gibson DUI story is causing a giant first amendment controversy, a debate over "The Best Song Ever Written, Harvey says "Save the Pigs!" and breaking Khloe and Lamar news.
TMZ has obtained a photo of
Charles Manson's Death Valley hideout after a mysterious fire gutted the infamous building earlier this week.

The fire completely gutted the inside of the structure known as
Barker Ranch -- officials are unclear if it was set intentionally. An investigation is under way.
Back in '69, Manson and his gang of murderers retreated to the cabin after slaughtering
Sharon Tate and seven others. Manson was arrested at the cabin -- and the structure has since become a tourist attraction.
Officials tell us they're already getting offers from groups who want to rebuild it.
Charles Manson is notorious for leading the depraved Manson family, who committed the heinous Tate/LaBianca murders in 1969.
Guess what he looks like now.
Get out your Ouija boards -- we got a séance going on!
Last night, on the 39th anniversary of the notorious Manson murders, a group of level-headed people gathered just doors from the place Charlie Manson's followers paid a visit back in '69. Their mission -- to contact the spirits of Sharon Tate and the four others who were slaughtered.
Those inside the séance claim a figurine fell from a shelf, and when they all went to the basement everyone's back started to ache. Sadly, our cameras caught none of that -- but we did witness lights flickering.

Manson Family member Susan Atkins should not become a free woman, at least if the L.A. County D.A. has his way.
Atkins, who has been diagnosed with brain cancer and may have only six months to live, has applied for Compassionate Release Consideration.
D.A. Steve Cooley says not good enough, noting that Atkins was front and center for the Sharon Tate murders back in '69. Atkins personally stabbed Tate, tasted her blood and used it to write "PIG" on the front door.
Cooley claims Atkins "has failed to demonstrate genuine remorse and lacks insight and understanding of the gravity of her crimes."
Atkins received the death penalty but it was commuted to life after the California death penalty was ruled unconstitutional.
The Board of Prison Terms hearing is tomorrow in Sacramento.
