Victoria's Secret and S.I. swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen has been bombarded with violent, twisted threats from multiple  Chris Brown fans ... after Teigen criticized his performance at the Billboard Music Awards ... TMZ has learned.

Teigen has been under fire ever since she tweeted about Brown's performance Sunday night ... "Why sing when you can dance?"

Team Breezy went insane ... hammering Chrissy with horrible messages that read:

-- "all you do is talk s**t, you need to be raped and murdered."
-- "killyoself bitch ur nothing but tall thatswhy you model. your nothing."
-- "ditzy dumb ass tramp your mother should've aborted you."
-- "i hope you are the next 'celebrity' to die"
-- "you have the brain capacity of a turtle, just die."

Chrissy posted a statement about the situation ... saying, "Reallllly makes me sad that 99% of the most disturbing comments come from young girls. I'll end it there but it make me sad."

She added, "I have some screen caps. And I will do everything I can to make sure people know, internet or not, you CAN'T say this s**t."

The Twitter handles responsible for most of the threats have been deleted.


1:00 PM PT -- Chris Brown just responded to the firestorm on Twitter, urging his fans to stop their onslaught, writing, "Team Breezy! Lets stop sending death threats! I know y'all bout that life but it's the wrong message! Ur turning haters into victims!"

He added, "And that only furthers their pointless existence!"

It seems Rihanna has finally had enough of Chris Brown ... the singer has "unfollowed" her ex-boyfriend on Twitter after he released a new diss track that appears to be aimed at her.

The song in question is a remix of Kanye's TheraFlu -- in which Brown freestyles the verse, "Don't f*ck with my old bitches ... like a bad fur ... every industry n*gga done had her."

He continues, "Trick or treat like a pumpkin ... just to smash her."

Hours after Brown released the track last night, Rihanna stopped following Brown on Twitter -- a HUGE move -- and one that's leading many to assume Rihanna believes the verse is about her.

A short time later, Brown unfollowed Rihanna.

We reached out to Rihanna's rep -- so far, no comment.

Chris Brown is now in the dog breeding biz -- and even cute little adorable puppy faces can't convince people it's a good thing. Then again, he's selling pit bulls. So ... bad idea?

Screw the brutal, face-smashing beating in 2009 ... Chris Brown is the HOTTEST R&B artist out right now -- which is why Rihanna says she reached out to CB to collaborate on two new songs.

Rihanna called Ryan Seacrest this morning on KIIS FM, explaining her choice to record two duets with the man who brutalized her three years ago -- "I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really -- it made sense to do the record. Just as a musician -- despite everything else -- that was going to be the person."

She said, "I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track."

It's not personal ... it's business ... right? 

Chris Brown’s GF is scared to leave her house without bodyguards by her side -- and she's telling friends, it's all because Rihanna's crazy fans are threatening to kill her.

In case you missed it -- there was a lot of speculation last week that Rihanna dissed Karrueche Tran on Twitter -- posting a pic of a bag of rice cakes wearing sunglasses ... with the caption, "Ima a make u my bitch."

The joke -- Karrueche's Vietnamese ... rice cakes ... etc.

But several of Rihanna's fans took the joke one step too far -- unleashing an avalanche of violent threats on Karrueche ... like "I hope Rihanna beat the dog shit outa yo ass!" ... "Watch yo back" ... and "I will kill you."

Rihanna never admitted the rice cake jab was directed at Karrueche -- but sources close to Karrueche tell TMZ, she now refuses to leave her house without Chris Brown's hired muscle by her side.

As for Karrueche's infamous BF -- we're told CB is 100% supportive of his new lady ... despite getting close with Rihanna recently ... and is urging her not to worry.
 
The real lesson here -- don’t date Chris Brown.

Chris Brown didn't shy away when the DJ blasted a Rihanna song at an Orlando nightclub this weekend -- instead, he proudly sang along with EVERY lyric ... and TMZ has the footage.

It all went down at Club Vain on Sunday night during an NBA All--Star weekend finale party.

Chris was hanging on the main stage ... with everybody looking at him ... when Rihanna's "We Found Love" began to pump through the speakers ... and Chris made sure everyone knew he's a HUGE fan of the song.

It's the latest in what seems like a public reconciliation between the two sides -- earlier this month, the two collaborated on remixes of each other's songs.

Chris Brown was spotted last night at Tier Nightclub in Orlando, FL ... where Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul hosted a party for NBA All-Star Weekend.

The person who took the pic did so with an iPhone, which they still have in their possession.

CB was accused earlier this week of snatching a girl's iPhone after she took a photo of him outside of a club in Miami. He is still on probation in Los Angeles for beating Rihanna in 2009.

Chris Brown's not so camera shy after all -- just hours after he allegedly snatched a girl's phone for snapping a pic of him ... the singer posed for a photo with some female fans in Miami ... BEAMING HIS FACE OFF.

The pic was snapped outside the valet after the Heat/Magic game on Sunday -- and the lady on the right tells TMZ, CB was extremely nice during their brief interaction.

Chris had left American Airlines Arena early to beat the crowd -- but our source stopped him to say she's a big fan. When he heard this, they chatted briefly and Chris agreed to take the picture.

If you notice, CB's wearing the same chain he wore to Miami's Cameo nightclub the night before (below) -- when he allegedly snatched the girl's iPhone.

Chris Brown was asked squarely for the first time -- Did he steal a Florida woman's cell phone?

Brown -- who was in Orlando -- was mum on the subject, but the freelance photog had some choice words for the silent Brown.

24-year-old Christal Spann filed a police report last Sunday -- claiming the singer snatched her phone right out of her hands when she tried to take a picture of him ... then drove away.

We posted a video this morning, showing an agitated Christal describing the incident to police ... just moments after the alleged phone-jacking.

The case is under criminal investigation.

The woman who claims Chris Brown robbed her of her cell phone was captured on video obtained by TMZ, clearly agitated as she tells cops, "He snatched my phone."

Christal Spann and her 2 friends seem spontaneous and upset as she exclaims several times, "I just want my phone back." 

One of Spann's friends told police, Brown exclaimed, "Bitch, you not gonna put this up on no website."

Spann filed a police report, claiming she was attempting to take a picture of Brown early Sunday morning in Miami when he ripped her phone out of her hand and drove away.

Brown is being investigated  for the crime of "robbery by sudden snatching." If he's arrested, authorities in L.A. could move to violate his probation in the Rihanna beating case, and that could land him in California prison for 4 years.


The Miami Beach P.D. and the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office are aware of the video in this post and they will be evaluating it in deciding whether to charge Brown with a crime.

Chris Brown is being watched ... watched closely by the D.A. who prosecuted him for beating Rihanna ... because the latest incident in Miami could trigger a full court press in L.A. to send Brown to prison.

Sources tell us ... the L.A. District Attorney's Office is well aware of the robbery-by-snatching investigation of Brown in Florida ... and they're waiting for the L.A. County Probation Dept. to recommend what action, if any, should be taken.

In case you forgot ... and how could you forget? ... Brown was sentenced to 5 years probation for beating Rihanna in 2009 ... and one of the terms is that he obey all laws.

If officials determine the allegations against Brown are true -- that he "snatched" a cell phone from a woman in Florida -- his probation could be revoked and he could be thrown in prison for 4 years.

As TMZ first reported, an arrest warrant has not been issued in Florida ... at least not yet.
