Pretty ladies don't always get a pass at police checkpoints -- in fact, TMZ has learned cops impounded
Cindy Margolis' ride this weekend after they discovered her driver shouldn't have gotten behind the wheel.

According to law enforcement sources ... Cindy -- the most downloaded woman on the Internet back when people used CompuServe -- was a passenger in her 2010 Lexus SLX when her driver rolled up to a DUI and driver's license checkpoint in L.A.
We're told her driver didn't have a valid license -- so cops issued the guy a citation and seized the car.
Cindy and her driver eventually found another way home -- and Cindy went to the impound lot the next day to pick up her car. But the incident didn't come cheap -- we're told Margolis had to fork over $246.35 in fees.
TMZ spoke to Cindy who told us, "[The cops] probably could have stopped my car from being towed from the location, but everyone was busy taking photos with me and asking for autographs."
She added, "They lost track of what was happening with the car.”

Cindy Margolis showed off their assets at some award show in L.A. on Tuesday.

Question is ...
Cindy Margolis' boobs are like a car crash ... good luck looking away from 'em.

Cindy Margolis' husband, Guy Starkman, doesn't like to pay for things.
Starkman, on a recent solo shopping spree at trendy L.A. boutique
Sugar, picked out $4000 worth of dresses for his wife. A TMZ spy, who happened to be at the store, tells us that Starkman was tweaked about having to leave a credit card number for his purchases. Yeah, we hate when that happens.
Leaving in a huff with Cindy's new frocks, Starkman drove off in his shiny black Bentley.
Cindy has her Internet and
Playboy fortune, while Starkman has his own pile of wealth as the pastrami-peddling heir to the
Jerry's Deli chain, as well as owning several nightclubs.
We hope Guy's recent stylish purchases will put an end to Cindy's usual outfits from the Mariah Carey Spandex Mini-Dress Discount Outlet.
Cindy and Guy's reps tell TMZ that Guy loves to shop for his wife and picked out clothes for Margolis because, believe it or not, she hates to shop. He purchased $4000 worth of dresses. Cindy tried on half of the outfits and returned the rest. Guy was not miffed or upset. He's a successful businessman and has no reason to be.

After years of teasing fans with itsy bitsy bikinis shoots and tantalizing lingerie spreads, Cindy Margolis, the world's most famous Internet model, has finally taken it all off in the pages of Playboy.
The model, who's holds a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the "most downloaded" person in 1999, says she recently turned 40 (though her birth certificate says 41) and felt her window of opportunity to
bare all for Hef's magazine was closing fast.
"I thought, 'Wow, at 40 ... they still want me?' They've been calling me every year almost for 20 years, and I thought, 'My goodness. They may not call me next year.' "
TMZ got a sneak peak at the spread, and we've already started praying that they call her again next year. Cindy's issue hits newsstands on Friday.
Cindy Margolis finally gave in to Hugh Hefner -- she's posing for Playboy.
The 40-year-old bombshell told the television show 'EXTRA' that she finally decided to do the men's mag because she thought it could be an "inspiration to women."
Margolis joked, "Just because you're married, and have three kids, you're not dead!"
