Proving they are the happiest separated couple in Hollywood, David Arquette celebrated his first full year of sobriety by eating dinner with Courteney Cox at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills last night.

Arquette had checked himself into treatment on January 1, 2011 to deal with "alcohol and other issues."

As for the marriage ... the couple separated back in October 2010 ... but never actually filed for divorce. 

Recently, Dave started dating a new girl ... and judging by the fact Courteney came to dinner last night ... seems she's cool with it. 

The chick David Arquette nailed during his break from Courteney Cox couldn't have been too "shocked" when her sex tape went public ... because she had been SHOPPING IT herself for months!!



Sources close to Jasmine Waltz tell TMZ ... the 28-year-old and her manager set up a meeting with porn giant Vivid Entertainment last year hoping to lock up a deal to star in her own XXX video ... and she even SIGNED A CONTRACT!

We're told Waltz agreed to a deal that would pay her $60k up front PLUS 25% of the "back end" profits ... plus Waltz would have been able to personally select the "male talent."

But after Waltz signed the deal, sources tell us, things went sour ... and somehow Jasmine's "private" homemade XXX flick surfaced on her own website, realjasmine.com ... and not with Vivid.

Waltz had released a statement saying, "I'm absolutely shocked that the public is now going to see what I made with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day."

Suuuuuuure she was.

Brad Pitt went behind enemy lines -- hanging in the same restaurant as his ex Jennifer Aniston's BFF ... Courteney Cox. You know what that means, right? Right?

Courteney Cox just crashed the Howard Stern show this morning ... while her estranged husband David Arquette was in the studio ... and admitted there were problems with the marriage because David was so obsessed with having sex with her.



For the first time since they announced their split, Cox and Arquette gave a joint explanation about their break-up ... and Courteney explained, "Whenever I would like need consoling from David ... he could not literally put his arm around me for one second without completely getting a boner."

Howard responded, "I think I know what you're saying ... in other words, you'd like to know you're not always the sex object." Courteney agreed.

When Stern asked if the two would ever get back together -- David made it clear he WANTED to reconcile ... but Courteney insisted they were better off apart.

Courteney also told Howard she has not had sex with anyone since the split -- including her "Cougar Town" co-stars.

"Scream" queens Neve Campbell, 37, and Courteney Cox, 46, were all smiles at the horror franchise's latest premiere in L.A. on Monday.



Question is ...

Courteney Cox (who recently split with hubby David Arquette) vacations in the Caribbean with one of her hot male co-stars -- and a TMZ staffer fails to even notice the guy in the picture? Naah, never!

Courteney Cox and her "Cougar Town" co-star Josh Hopkins took a dip yesterday in St. Bart's.


The "Cougar" stars have been rumored to be hooking up for over a month.

It's pretty clear -- Josh likes Cox.

Estranged couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette put aside their differences when they met up yesterday in Malibu.


The couple separated back in October 2010, but neither side has filed for divorce.

David Arquette says he first tasted alcohol when he was just 4 years old ... and started hitting the bottle hard by the time he was 12.


Arquette opened up about his alcohol issues while taping an interview with "Oprah" ... which airs Thursday.

David also admitted his wife Courteney Cox staged an intervention ... and that he's been sober since checking into rehab back in December.

David Arquette's sudden trip to rehab can best be explained by -- like most things -- a really good metaphor! Now we just have to figure out what the hell this has to do with the iphone alarm crisis.

We're told David is seeking treatment for alcohol and other issues -- but not drugs. Arquette partied at Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel on New Year's Eve before checking into a live-in facility.

A source close to David says he is doing it because it's "the right thing to do for his family."

UPDATE: Through her rep, Courteney Cox tells TMZ, "I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him."
