Courtney Love is a delusional LIAR who should be banned from Twitter forever ... this according to her biological daughter Frances Bean Cobain.
Frances Bean has just issued a statement in response to Love's allegations that former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl hit on Frances during a recent encounter ... and it's clear, there's still a rift in the family.
Frances Bean states, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way."
She adds, "I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother."
Grohl has also denied Love's accusations -- saying, "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."
Courtney Love accusing The Muppets of rape -- because of their cover of a Nirvana song -- is one thing. But naming Kermit the prime suspect?! Typical ... always blame the green guy.

Courtney Love believes
Kermit the Frog and his gang of Muppet friends "raped" the memory of her late husband
Kurt Cobain -- by bastardizing Nirvana's "
Smells Like Teen Spirit" in their 2011 movie ... without her permission.
Courtney says she has the absolute power to approve or nix the use of Kurt's music for commercial purposes, and she never gave the OK for the 2 companies to use the song for the 2011 Muppets movie.
But there's another side to this ... We're told Courtney sold off half of her rights to Kurt's music to a company called Primary Wave Music. And there's more ... Courtney also gave Primary Wave the exclusive right to distribute Nirvana's entire catalog.
As far as "Smells Like Teen Spirit" goes ... not only did Primary Wave approve the use in the Muppet's movie, they got permission from the two surviving Nirvana members --
Dave Grohl and
Krist Novoselic. And Dave is even in the movie.
But it's not all that bad for Courtney. We're told a chunk of the profits from songs in the catalog go to Courtney and her daughter, Frances Bean.

One of
Courtney Love's ex-assistant's is shopping a new book -- claiming to offer up the singer's deepest darkest secrets ... involving her derailed love life, and rampant denial of serious drug problems.
The book -- tentatively entitled "
Get Me a Xanax" -- is being shopped around to major literary agents in New York by a woman named
Jessica Labrie, who worked for Love from 2010-2011.
According to the proposal -- obtained by TMZ -- "This is an unprecedented glimpse into the daily life of the chaotic widow of
Kurt Cobain, by an innocuous girl who had the extraordinary chance to witness it all."
Labrie makes many allegations in her proposal -- including how Love torpedoed several romantic relationships with her obsessive behavior, and still abuses cocaine and prescription drugs like Adderall and Xanax ... despite telling people she's been "clean and sober" for years.
So far, no word on whether the book's been picked up.
Courtney tells TMZ, she hasn't taken Adderall since November 2010 -- and is adamant she never took cocaine when Labrie worked for her, adding, "I hate cocaine."
Courtney admitted she does take Xanax -- but she has a prescription.
Courtney Love is planning to file a lawsuit against whoever leaked sealed documents from a 2009 deposition given by her daughter,
Frances Bean Cobain, that allege drug use and reckless behavior that led to deaths of two family pets.
The sealed deposition, filed when Frances was seeking a restraining order against her mother, claim the family
cat died after getting entangled in Love’s messy piles of various things ... while the dog swallowed several of Love’s stash of prescription pills.
Frances also claimed Love "basically exists now on ... Xanax, Adderall, Sonata and Abilify, sugar and cigarettes."
James Janowitz, a lawyer for Love, tells the NY Post he's investigating how the papers got leaked, saying, "I don’t know how they were disclosed ... When I find out what happened, we will take the appropriate legal action."

Courtney Love will NOT be evicted from her luxury Manhattan townhouse -- TMZ has learned, a judge just tossed out the landlord's case, because it turns out Courtney did exactly what a good tenant is supposed to do -- pay her rent.
Courtney's landlord
filed the eviction lawsuit, claiming she owed $54,000 for 2 months of back rent. But the judge just ruled the landlord was way off base. Turns out the landlord and Courtney had made an agreement after the lease was signed that altered the payment schedule. Courtney was paying according to the new deal, but the landlord was trying to enforce the original one.
So bottom line ... Courtney gets to stay.
P.S. The landlord said originally that in addition to owing rent, Courtney accidentally set the joint on fire. The judge didn't address the whole fire thing.

Courtney Love could be out on her ass in NYC -- because the owner of the luxury NYC townhouse she rents believes the rocker set the place on FIRE ... and wants to evict Love ASAP.
According to the owner, the "landmark luxury 4-story townhouse in Manhattan's West Village" was custom designed by a famous architect and interior designer ... and Love agreed not to mess with anything inside the place without permission.
But the owner says Love totally blew off the agreement ... repainting the place and wallpapering over the "glazed hand-brushed walls."
And then there was the fire ...
The owner claims the local Fire Department responded to a blaze in the 4th floor bedroom back in June in which curtains and bed linens went up in flames. But the owner claims there are burn marks throughout the pad ... and believes there's a possibility the entire structure may have caught fire.
The owner also claims Love has fallen WAY behind in rent ... to the tune of $54,000.
Now, the owner is looking to evict Love, stat ... claiming it's gonna cost $100,000 to restore the place back to it's original state.
Calls to Love have not been returned.

Just a year after turning 18 and gaining access to a ton of trust money,
Frances Bean Cobain is investing in the Los Angeles real estate market -- shelling out $1.875 million for a house all her own.
The 3,350 square foot Spanish-style home has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a terrace, vintage light fixtures and hardware, stained glass windows and a media room.
The 19-year-old rock heiress is reportedly attending college in upstate New York -- so this is just her West Coast crash pad ... in between semesters.
Courtney Love has been ordered to fork over more than $35k to her two former maids -- after allegedly stiffing them out of their hard earned paychecks for years.

TMZ has learned ... Love's former maids -- named Miriam and Myriam -- scored a huge victory in Beverly Hills court ... after proving Love never paid them for cleaning up her pad several years ago.
The judge now ruled Love must now kick out $16,632.45 to Mirium and $19,137.27 to Myrium ... totaling $35,769.72 in wages, penalties and interest.
A rep for Love could not be reached for comment.
Nirvana front man
Kurt Cobain has yet another way to be immortalized -- TMZ has learned, a 13-foot statue of a guitar was erected today ... in honor of the 17th anniversary of his death.

The statue will be unveiled this afternoon in Cobain's hometown of Aberdeen, WA. We're told his grandfather is expected to attend, as well as former band members from Nirvana.
TMZ spoke with the statue's artist -- Lora Malakoff -- who tells us, the guitar will rest near the infamous Young Street Bridge, which the musician often sought refuge under to write lyrics.
A moment of silence please.
