Cuba Gooding Jr. is shooting down reports he sexually harassed and groped several women in a New Mexico bar last month ... telling TMZ the allegations are "bulls**t."

Just a few weeks ago, reports surfaced CGJ had rolled into a tavern in Albuquerque on March 1 and got super grabby with several women ... before allegedly punching a guy who tried to take his picture.

But yesterday at LAX ... Cuba was adamant he did nothing wrong ... and when we asked about the women possibly having photo evidence ... he brushed it off telling us, "Yeah ... yeah right."

Don Cornelius isn't getting the credit he deserves for "creating" the biggest music stars of the 70s -- at least according to Cuba Gooding Senior ... who got his big break on "Soul Train."

Long before CG Jr. was shouting, "Show me the money" -- Gooding Sr. and his group, the Main Ingredient, were singing "Everybody Plays the Fool" on "Soul Train" in '73 (below).

Gooding tells us groups like The Temptations, The Stylistics, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes can also thank Cornelius for giving them major TV exposure. By the way, Cuba still has serious pipes (check the clip) ... and says, "What Don Cornelius decided to do was put us all on television. Regional at first, then local. Then the entire planet!"

Cornelius was found dead in his home on February 1 of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Cuba Gooding Jr. gave an intoxicating speech to some bar patrons while partying it up in Spokane, Washington -- and if you like watching drunk people ramble incoherently, you're gonna love this ...

Cuba jumped onstage to perform with Steel Panther -- where even at an '80s rock show, dude couldn't escape harassment for "Snow Dogs."

Sadly, this is the best picture Cuba has been in since "Jerry Maguire."

The animated actor was followed from the club by a semi-entourage, including a young and rather loud gal in boots from 1992, who kept asking, "Are we getting food?!" The star avoided questions in front of our camera, as he hopped into his ride -- a lame-o '80s-ish limo. At the end of the block, the same tacky girl and her friend met him, and surprise, hopped in!
