UFC Prez Dana White is on the receiving end of some terrifying death threats from an ex-MMA fighter who says he plans to "shoot [Dana] right in the head" -- and now cops are on the case.

It's unclear what started the beef, but the wannabe fighter -- Dan Quinn -- has gone off the hinges, leaving voicemail messages threatening to blow up Dana's offices and put a bullet in the back of his head.

Quinn's fighting career spanned nine years from 2001-2010. He never fought in the UFC, but did face off against a couple of future UFC fighters, including 2004 heavyweight champ Frank Mir (Quinn got beat).

Quinn has made rambling threats against White for several years on YouTube, but they escalated recently after Quinn somehow got Dana's private work number and left chilling messages.




In the voicemails, obtained by TMZ, the delusional Quinn accuses White of sending in henchmen to kill him, claiming, "I just want you to know, since you're bringing that to me, you should be worried about your own safety, bitch."

Quinn adds, "I'm gonna shoot you right in the head motherf**ker."

The voicemails get even weirder -- one from a guy (presumably Quinn) speaking in an Irish accent and calling himself "Paddy O'Neill." The "Irish" interloper then makes several threats.

We're told White has never met or spoken with Quinn -- sources say the Prez never ever heard of the dude until last week, when the voicemail threats got crazy.

White's security team turned the voicemails over to the Vegas PD, which is currently investigating.


After numerous attempts to reach Dan Quinn, we finally got in touch with him. Quinn admits he filmed the YouTube videos, but tells us the voicemails in question were left by someone else.

MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko ... SUCKS ... and he SUCKS HARD ... this according to UFC president Dana White.

White and Fedor have been at each other's throats for months ... a feud which reportedly began after the legendary Russian fighter -- who many claim to be the greatest mixed martial artist who ever lived -- refused to sign a deal to fight in the UFC.



Fedor's manager reignited the war just last month ... when he compared White to a greedy "dog" who runs the UFC like a prison.

But White fired back last night on his way out of Mastro's in L.A. -- telling photogs, "Fedor sucks man ... you guys need to get with the facts, deal with it ... he sucks. Get over the Fedor thing."

Sounds like a fight that NEEDS to be settled in the Octagon.

UFC head honcho Dana White just issued a lifetime BAN on Nicolas Cage's son -- telling TMZ, "I would never allow Weston Cage to set foot in a UFC ring after two domestic violence arrests."



Weston previously told us, he was already training to fight in UFC -- and his dream would be to face off against Kimbo Slice in the Octagon ... but according to Dana, that will never happen.

TMZ broke the story ... Weston was arrested yesterday in L.A. for felony domestic violence -- his SECOND domestic violence arrest in less than a month.

No es bueno.

Zuffa, the parent company of UFC, has purchased its top competitor, Strikeforce, UFC president Dana White announced today.



In announcing the move, White says it will be "business as usual" for both organizations. White said there will not be "superfights" between fighters of both groups and all contracts and business deals (including Strikeforce's deal with Showtime) will remain unaffected.



 

Charlie Sheen already has a venue if "Two and a Half Men" creator  Chuck Lorre agrees to fight him in the octagon -- because UFC boss Dana White has invited them to be the "co-main event" at this weekend's big fight.



White tells TMZ, "BJ Penn is fighting Jon Fitch on Saturday ... [Charlie and Chuck] are more than welcome to be the co-main event."

In fact, Dana's even made a prediction -- saying, "I have Charlie Sheen by brutal knockout."

How can you bet against a guy with "fire-breathing fists?"

The HERO who stopped a knife-wielding maniac in NYC this weekend got a surprise visit from UFC president Dana White yesterday ... after Dana learned Joseph Lozito used an MMA move to take down the bad guy.


It's an unbelievable story -- Lozito was brutally attacked and stabbed in a NYC subway train on Saturday by Maksim Gelman -- who had been targeted in a massive manhunt after allegedly murdering four people and injuring five during a 28-hour stabbing spree.

But after being stabbed in his head and his arm --Lozito managed to drop Maksim with a single leg takedown ... a move he learned from 20 years of watching the UFC.

Cops swooped in moments later and took Maksim into custody.

Lozito doesn't believe he's a hero. We beg to differ.

Even though scissor locks are legal moves in the UFC -- there will be no chick fighters doing 'em ... ever. Let's get it on!! The debate, that is.

The UFC has banned another substance -- estrogen -- because UFC honcho Dana White tells us he will "NEVER" allow a female fighter to step inside his octagon.


For the record, there are a TON of badass, tough-as-nails women fighters including Cris "Cyborg" Santos and Gina Carano ... but they both fight for the rival Strikeforce league.

So we gotta ask ...

Ultimate Fighting superstar Chael Sonnen has been suspended by the UFC in the wake of a money laundering scandal ... TMZ has learned.



Just yesterday, Sonnen pled guilty to money laundering in connection with mortgage fraud -- and now UFC president Dana White tells us Sonnen's contract has been temporarily "frozen."

But White isn't turning his back on one of his most famous fighters -- Dana tells us, "Chael Sonnen has gone through a lot in the last few months and we think it's important for him to focus on getting his personal life together before focusing on his career in the UFC."

White adds, "I spoke with Chael earlier today and he agrees that setting priorities in his life is the best thing for him right now. I sincerely hope Chael is able to straighten out his personal life."

Sonnen has reportedly struck a plea deal in his money laundering case -- and is expected to receive two years probation and a $10,000 fine.

UFC honcho Dana White is a man of his word -- but his word cost him $20,000 because of a bet he lost to Snoop Dogg.


Dana and Snoop made the bet last June during the NBA Finals. Dana took the Celtics, Snoop took the Lakers and ... well, you know the rest.

The UFC prez finally shelled out the money in Vegas on Thursday during Ryan Sheckler's birthday party at Moon in the Palms.

UFC 125 went down this weekend ... so Dana probably made back the money in seconds.

There may be blood in the streets of Montréal this weekend if Canadian UFC champ Georges St. Pierre loses on his home soil -- and UFC boss Dana White already has an escape plan in case it happens.


It's all going down at UFC 124 in Montréal, Québec on Saturday -- when Georges defends his welterweight title against America's own Josh Koscheck.

According to White -- who was in Toronto this week -- Koscheck "better have a f**king helicopter waiting out front if he wins that fight" ... adding, "And mine will be right next to it."
