They don't make 'em like they used to -- at least according to the guy who played James Bond in 1969, who's pissed the new Bond film has axed 007's signature martini ... in favor of a corporate-sponsored beer.

If you don't know ... the people behind Daniel Craig's next Bond flick "Skyfall" closed a reported $45 million deal with Heineken -- forcing the iconic character to drink beer in the movie, instead of a vodka martini ... Bond's famous drink of choice.

Bond orders the drink in practically every movie ever -- just check the clip below from "The World Is Not Enough."



Devoted Bond fans everywhere are pissed -- a list that includes former James Bond actor George Lazenby, who played 007 in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."

Lazenby tells us, cutting the martini in favor of a Heiney breaks a sacred tradition -- and to add insult to injury, "It's not the best beer out there, either."

Lazenby adds, it's sad filmmakers will always "go where the money is."

Daniel Craig posed inbetween his two new gorgeous co-stars -- Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris -- from the upcoming James Bond movie "Skyfall" at an event in London this week.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz were spotted at JFK airport in NYC on Saturday ... the first time they've been seen out since they tied the knot.


Honeymoon time, perhaps?

Daniel Craig put his James Bond spy skills to good use this week -- because he and Rachel Weisz got married on the hush-hush in New York City.


Only a handful of people attended the shindig Wednesday -- including Craig's 18-year-old daughter, Ella, and Weisz's 4-year-old son, Henry.

As TMZ first reported, Weisz and Craig began seeing each other on the set of a movie they did together ... and Weisz split from long-time partner director Darren Aronofsky, shortly thereafter. 

Newly single actress Rachel Weisz already has her hands on a new man ... James Bond badass Daniel Craig.


The two were spotted holding hands this week outside of London ... one month after TMZ first reported that she was splitting with her baby daddy -- "Black Swan" director Darren Aronofsky -- after nine years together.

Darren Aronofsky and Rachel Weisz have split ... TMZ has learned.


Aronofsky -- who directed "The Wrestler," "Requiem for a Dream" and "Pi" -- and Weisz -- who starred in "The Mummy," "The Constant Gardner" and "The Fountain" -- were together for nine years. They never married.

Reps for the former couple tell TMZ, "Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC."

Sources tell us the couple will seek joint custody of their 4-year-old Henry Chance.

And sources tell TMZ Rachel has been linked to "James Bond" star Daniel Craig for months.  They worked together on the upcoming flick, "Dream House," in February and March of 2010. 

Daniel Craig, 41, and Hugh Jackman, also 41, took time out of co-starring in the Broadway play "A Steady Rain" to attend the same event in NYC this week.
