We didn't think it was possible -- but Danny DeVito upstaged his incredible dance performance at last year's Coachella Festival by rocking this year's ... in a DUCK MASK.



It was all during a performance by Duck Sauce on Sunday -- so the bill kinda makes sense.

And just for good measure ... check out Danny feeling it last year at Deadmau5. Awesome.

Danny DeVito is back at Coachella this year, wearing the same "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" hat he was wearing last year when we spotted him jamming to Deadmau5.


When in Indio ...

Danny DeVito is so excited about his upcoming appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego ... that he's literally letting people EAT HIS FACE OFF!!!  ... and all for your sick, twisted viewing pleasure!


Danny made the flick for his horror-themed website, TheBloodFactory.com -- and his wife Rhea Perlman even makes a cameo.

Danny DeVito was just minding his own business, performing his civic duty this AM when he showed up at the Beverly Hills courthouse for jury duty.



Little did Danny know ... his trip through the metal detector would be chronicled for the world to see, because he showed up just after Lindsay Lohan arrived.

Danny is in the jury assembly room right now.  Someone needs to pick this dude as a juror, assuming, of course, it's not a Limoncello case.

With a new "Batman" movie in the works -- Danny DeVito already has a great suggestion about who should resurrect his famous Penguin role ... somebody who's a total punk.


Danny -- along with his wife Rhea Perlman and his "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" co-star Charlie Day -- were leaving dinner in Beverly Hills last night when they fired off a list of possible Oswald Cobblepot contenders ... before settling on the "perfect" guy.

We also asked Danny how he enjoyed that Deadmau5 show at Coachella -- and he said with a smirk, "I always enjoy Coachella."

65-year-old Danny DeVito rocked his entire face off at a techno-trance concert at the Coachella music festival -- fist pumpin' like crazy in a sea of crazed fans ... and topless people.



It all went down during the Deadmau5 show -- where Danny fist pumped like he was on an episode of "Jersey Shore" ... and the guys at Newestra.com caught it all on camera.

The Penguin flew solo to a "Dark Knight" after-party in NYC -- where the cast of the flick was absolutely swarmed by autographazzi and pappers staked outside.

Also in NY: Heath Ledger's ex-gf Naomi Watts showed up to the party for support too, Billy Crystal said Madge was a hottie, Ethan Hawke dodged Uma wedding rumors and Gabrielle Union put the A-Rod/Madonna gossip on blast.

In L.A.: Sports stars flooded LAX, the luckiest guy alive escorted Adriana Lima through the airport, Lindsay Lohan was in a foul mood and Robert Kardashian Jr. was clueless about his sis' upcoming jail stint.

Sharon Osbourne was shocked we did a poll asking people "who'd you rather?" between her and daughter Kelly. Even more shocking -- the 55-year-old mum won!

Also in L.A.: Little people Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman stepped out, Rick Springfield showed off his pit stains and fanny pack, paps teased David Spade, Pauly Shore made out with a guy and Mel B called us "nosy."

In NY: "Gossip Girl" rumored lovahs Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick walked around set and NY Giant Michael Strahan got cozy with Eddie Murphy's ex, Nicole Murphy.

Alright, so it was more of a low-jacking, but Danny DeVito snatched our photog's camera at LAX and turned it on the growing crowd for some pretty damn funny small talk.
