Still showing no sign of bringing back "Chappelle's Show," comic god Dave Chappelle flaunted his shockingly ripped physique at an ice cream shop in the Bahamas today ... where he's vacationing with his wife and kids.

Takes us back to the glory days of "Half Baked" ... motherf**ker said ice cream b!!!!

The Seminole Indian Tribe has spoken -- and they want Dave Chappelle to know ... they accept his apology for that TERRIBLE stand-up gig at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino over the weekend.




A spokesperson for the Seminoles tells TMZ -- "The Tribe appreciates and accepts his apology and welcomes him back anytime."

Chappelle apologized for his "wild night" -- in which he blew off his act and checked his text messages instead of telling jokes.

24 hours after BOMBING during a stand-up performance at an Indian casino in Florida, Dave Chappelle has issued an apology to the tribe ... claiming it's not the first time he's flopped on stage.



As we previously reported, Chappelle was performing at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida on Friday night ... when things got so bad, he began texting in the middle of his show.

But the next day, he apologized for what he called a "wild night" -- and gave a "big shout out to the Seminoles."

Chappelle says he had a similar experience at the MTV VMAs back in 2004 -- and the way he tells the story ... pretty damn hilarious.

Dave Chappelle bombed on stage last night at a charity event in Miami -- things were so bad, Dave checked his text messages ... in the middle of his show!



According to reports, Chappelle became distracted by fans who were recording him and began conversing with them and refusing to tell jokes.

CNN reporter Roland S. Martin was in the crowd and tweeted throughout the show, saying, "He's spent more time going back & forth with one audience member, & pretty much stopped telling jokes ... He got texted four times during his show and actually checked them ... He's just staring at the crowd & sighing ... He's been on stage 46 minutes & told one joke."

The event, Zo’s Summer Groove, was put on by former NBA player Alonzo Mourning with the money going towards Alonzo's youth charity.

A private jet carrying comedian Dave Chappelle made an emergency landing in Pittsburgh last night because the pilot couldn't handle Chappelle's erratic behavior, TMZ has learned.


A source extremely familiar with the incident tells TMZ Chappelle boarded a private jet in New Jersey last night bound for Ohio -- where the actor lives.

During the flight, we're told Dave "freaked out" and refused to put his seat belt on. Then -- according to sources -- Dave repeatedly walked into the cockpit, asking how much longer the flight would be, and started grabbing the pilot's arms.

Sources say the pilot determined Chappelle was a safety risk and diverted the plane to Pittsburgh.

We're told Chappelle then checked into a nearby hotel for the night. Sources at the hotel tell us Dave has been telling hotel employees he wanted to rent a car to drive back to Ohio ... only he couldn't remember where he lived.

Chappelle was spotted wandering out of the hotel early this morning.

A rep for Chappelle explains the incident to TMZ by saying Dave really needed to use the restroom -- he ate something that didn't sit well -- and the bathroom on the plane was "not the kind he needed."

Afterward Dave did not mysteriously disappear.

For a guy who became a living god in stoner culture, it was a little strange to see Dave Chappelle weed out any questions about Mary Jane yesterday at LAX.

He was real chummy with one paparazzo outside the terminal -- and our photog was real jealous it wasn't him.
