Pauly D has finally lashed back at Deadmau5 in their ongoing Twitter war ... but the MTV star inadvertently trashed a living legend in the process -- Neil 'Frickin' Diamond.
Pauly obviously saw the comments Deadmau5 made to TMZ ... when he said the "Jersey Shore" star has no talent as a DJ.
Moments ago, Pauly fired back by posting a photo of a Deadmau5 CD in the clearance section of a retail store with a message that read, "Wait I'm Sorry I Cant Hear You @deadmau5 The Clearance Section Is Too Loud."
Nice comeback ... but the pic of the Deadmau5 album is next to "The Very Best of Neil Diamond" ... which happens to be in the same section!!!
Deadmau5 is fair game ... but c'mon Pauly ... leave Neil out of this!!!
Pauly D's a no-talent poser -- at least according to electronic music legend Deadmau5.
The famed mouse-headed DJ was shooting a music video in LA over the weekend -- when we asked if he thought the "Jersey Shore" star had any real DJ talent. Deadmau5 responded, "No, not really."
DM's Pauly D jab comes in the wake of a little Twitter feud last week -- when Mr. Mau5 publicly bashed Pauly's new music video, saying it looked embarrassingly cheap ... "like it cost about $150 to make."
Pauly said he was flattered that DM even deigned to criticize him -- but now, Deadmau5 says the entire embarrassing Internet standoff could have been avoided ... if Pauly did ONE thing differently ... watch the clip.
Seems Deadmau5 is experiencing a little post-feud remorse ... admitting things didn't go exactly as planned in his cyber-feud with Madonna.
The super DJ was at Pearson International Airport in Canada yesterday ... when he was asked about the Madonna thing ... and he replied, "How is it?! It's terrible."
As we previously reported, Deadmau5 had accused the singer of promoting drug use at a recent electronic music festival ... but Madge fired back, claiming he totally misinterpreted her comments ... and scolded him for not addressing his gripe privately.
Now, it's obvious Deadmau5 just wants the controversy to go away ... saying, "It's just a little trite ... everyone will forget about it."
The song in the middle of the Madonna ecstasy controversy isn't about drugs ... it's about a girl named "Molly" ... this according to the guy who wrote the lyrics.
You'll recall -- Madonna appeared at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend ... and asked the crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen Molly?" In case you didn't know ... "Molly" is a slang term for MDMA, the key ingredient in ecstasy.
DeadMau5slammed Madonna for encouraging drug use -- but Madonna responded today, insisting she was simply referring to a friend's song called "Have You Seen Molly?"
Now, this "friend" -- a DJ named Cedric Gervais (left) -- is coming to Madonna's defense, insisting his song is NOT about drugs ... it's about a girl named Molly who, according to the lyrics, "makes me want to dance." See below for the yet-to-be-released song's "teaser" video that was definitely not inspired by party drugs.
This just in -- Britney Spears' song “If U Seek Amy” is totally about her lost friend Amy.
Madonna says DeadMau5 is DeadWrong ... claiming she was NOT promoting drug use at a concert in Florida ... despite allegations she used her stage time to glamorize the drug ecstasy.
Deadmau5 -- one of the most famous DJs in the world -- had attacked Madonna as a "f**king idiot" for asking the crowd at the Ultra Music Festival if anyone has "seen Molly" -- Molly is a slang term for the active ingredient in ecstasy (video below ... warning: it contains explicit language).
Now, Madge is lashing back ... with a pair of mouse ears.
The Material Girl posted a photo of herself in Mickey Mouse gear ... with the caption, "From one mouse to another I dont support drug use and i never have. I was referring to the song called "Have You Seen Molly" written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my album."
Deadmau5 saw the tweet and replied ... saying, "Fair enough, I was just voicing my concerns as I usually do. +1 respect for clearing it up personally ... regardless, just be a little more aware of what you should represent at EDM events, and I'll watch my mouth."
Madge replied ... "Communication is always best. You should have called me first, we could have cleared it up 'privately.' ;) See you on the road."
Madonna is under attack by one of the most famous DJs in the world ... who's PISSED at the Material Girl for glamorizing the use of ecstasy during a recent concert.
DJ Deadmau5 was clearly watching when Madge took the stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend and shouted to the crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen molly?" (check out video below at :45 mark)
FYI -- "Molly" is a slang term for MDMA, one of the key ingredients in ecstasy ... a drug that's hugely popular with people in the electronic dance music community.
While the crowd CHEERED at Madge's comment ... Deadmau5 went to his Facebook page and ripped the singer a new one.
"Very classy there madonna. 'HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???' such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra."
He added, "Quite the f'n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! f*cking cant smack my head hard enough right now."
So far, no response from Madonna. Warning: video contains explicit language.
After THOUSANDS of submissions ... super-famous DJ Deadmau5 has finally selected a winner in his worldwide search for a new "head" ... and of course, the mouse was drawn to the cheese.
After somecrazy submissions, which included a "spider-mau5" ... a golden head ... and a skeleton-face .... the DJ picked the cheddar helmet ... designed by a guy named Lance Thackeray.
TMZ obtained photos ... shot when the two met up last week in NY ... and as promised, Deadmau5 rocked the winning dome piece during a performance later that night.
Paris Hilton is training her ass off ... working with some of the BIGGEST DJs on Earth ... in a brand new quest to become the most POWERFUL female house musician of all time ... TMZ has learned.
Sources close to P tell TMZ ... Hilton has been traveling the world to shadow some super-famous DJs to get some guidance for her upcoming house music album.
We're told Hilton has become pretty tight with HUGE names like Afrojack and Deadmau5 -- and even plans to appear on stage with Deadmau5 in the near future.
One source extremely close to the heiress tells us, Hilton's been told by the best in the biz she could become the "Queen of house music" -- because "no woman has ever taken over in that arena ... and she wants to become that person."
We're told Paris is researching right now in Ibiza (aka House Music Island) with David Guetta ... and is pushing to release the album before the end of the year.
Deadmau5 has a MAJOR decision to make ... because the world famous DJ has some serious contenders for a contest he announced to replace his iconic mouse head ... and TMZ has the pics!
As we previously reported -- Deadmau5 challenged fans to design his next domepiece ... and will actually use the winning entry during performances.
The contest doesn't end until July 12 ... but he's already got some pretty badass designs to consider ... including a sick SpiderMan design.
And just for kicks ... here's our favorite video of all time -- Danny DeVito dancing his face off at Deadmau5's Coachella performance last year.
Deadmau5 is on the hunt for an iconic new headpiece -- and he's giving his fans the chance to design the next "Mau5head" themselves.
The DJ announced the worldwide contest today -- and plans to debut the winning head at the end of the summer.
In addition to MASSIVE bragging rights -- the winner will get two VIP passes to a blowout deadmau5 performance in L.A. ... and will even get to meet the mau5 himself.
During a visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain -- Tommy Lee and a mask-free Deadmau5 strapped on some safety harnesses and swung into action on a ride aptly named "Dive Devil" earlier this month.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
