New York Yankees sources tell us Jetes and fellow Bronx Bomber, Andruw Jones, were jonesin' for classic NY style pizza this afternoon ... and found it at Chazz: A Bronx Original.
We're told Jeter and Jones walked into the Baltimore hot spot ... and placed a Ruthian sized order: coal-fired burrata pizza, chicken parm, veal meatballs and shrimp over polenta!
Before the Yanks took their order to go they posed with a staffer ... and Palminteri -- writer and star of "A Bronx Tale" -- called to wish 'em good luck in tonight's game against the Orioles.

The photog who crashed Hulk Hogan's wedding really has a knack for pissing off celebs -- because TMZ has learned ... the very same guy got into an altercation with Derek Jeter's dad just last week.
According to the police report, freelance photog Robert Martinez was snapping some shots of Derek and his family outside the Yankee star's Florida home -- and Derek's dad was none too pleased.
Martinez claims Charles Jeter pushed him away while he was taking photographs, and then yanked him back by his jacket collar -- injuring the photog's neck and back.
The trauma must have been minimal -- because as we first reported, Martinez was back on the job a week later ... stirring up more trouble at Hulk Hogan's beachfront nuptials.

There's a report circulating that Minka had an epic meltdown on a flight from NY to LAX earlier today when she wasn't allowed to put her dog on her seat during takeoff.
According to the report, it took all seven flight attendants, a personal plea from the pilot ... and a phone call to boyfriend Derek Jeter to calm her down.
But Kelly's lawyer, Marty Singer, tells TMZ ... Minka paid extra to bring her dog on board the flight. There was never an issue on the L.A./New York trip. But Singer says on the return trip, the flight attendant would not let Minka's dog in the first class cabin during takeoff and landing because of space issues. Singer says Minka took her dog back to coach for takeoff and landing and spent the rest of the time with her pooch in first class.
Singer calls the freak-out story "ridiculous," adding she would have been kicked off the flight if she went nuts. As for calling Jeter, Singer says it didn't happen -- she called her manager who booked the flight in an attempt to convince the flight attendant she had made accommodations for the dog in first class.
With his good friend Tiger Woods still MIA -- New York Yankees stud Derek Jeter took to the tennis court instead of the links for a little off-season workout in the Caribbean this weekend.
