There's a reason L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul got a sick deal on his giant Bel Air mansion -- according to Avril Lavigne's ex-husband Deryck Whibley ... the place has a bad ghost problem.
One year after terminating their marriage ... Avril Lavigne and ex-husband Deryck Whibley came together for an expensive Italian meal at Madeo in Beverly Hills last night.
Avril's new man -- Brody Jenner -- was MIA at the meal, but Avril did bring another female friend ... probably because one-on-ones with exes can get awkward.
After dinner, the group all left in the same car -- and when asked how the reunion went, everybody kept their mouths shut ... and their spitwads to themselves.
TMZ has obtained the docs in which Avril and Deryck divide the spoils.
She gets:
-- Her guitar collection -- Drum collection -- Other musical instruments -- Her lyrics, songs, etc. -- Her Volvo -- Beverly Hills house -- Clothing, awards, plaques, certificates, artwork, mementos, jewelry, etc.
He gets:
-- His guitar collection -- Song catalogues -- Clothing, awards, plaques, certificates, artwork, mementos, jewelry, etc. -- Other stuff
Neither party got spousal support. And, of course, there was a prenup.
Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have been swappin' spit with everyone under the sun since they split last year -- but they weren't OFFICIALLY single until yesterday ... this according to new docs.
TMZ obtained documents filed Tuesday in L.A. County Superior Court which show a judgment has been entered in the former couple's divorce ... which means as of yesterday, the two are now officially single. Avril -- who married Deryck back in July of 2006 -- had filed for divorce in October of last year.
Avril has since hooked up with lady slayer Brody Jenner ... while Deryck was recently busted sucking face with some random chick at a tattoo parlor.
Just one week after being attacked in Japan ... Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley limped his way back on the Hollywood scene last night ... where it was clear he was still feeling some pain.
Whibley told us he didn't know any of the three men who jumped him during a night out in Japan last week ... but claims his attackers were all American.
Deryck reportedly suffered a slipped disk in his back from the fight ... and the band decided to call off their gig on the Vans Warped Tour due to the injury.
Soon-to-be-divorced rockers Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are already splitting up the assets -- and TMZ has learned Deryck's getting the L.A. mansion.
Last week, Avril signed over the deed to the multimillion dollar Sherman Oaks home to Deryck, naming him the new "sole and separate" owner -- just four days after she filed for divorce on October 9th.
But the house also came with a lot of debt -- as of October 14th, there was still over a million dollars left on it to pay off.
Avril Lavigne filed for divorce just last week from Deryck Whibley -- but he doesn't look all that broken up about it.
We got Deryck drowning his sorrows in girlfriend Hanna Beth Merjos' mouth at Tattoo Mania in Hollywood last night, the two looking quite cozy as they kissed and writhed all over a table inside.
