Musclebound god The Rock was spotted with his similarly buff, bald and green slimed body double on the set of his new bodybuilding film "Pain and Gain" in Miami this weekend.

Two Dwayne Johnsons are better than one.

It's a battle of the buffed out tank tops as Mark Wahlberg and The Rock both flashed their jacked up bulging biceps on the set of their new bodybuilding flick "Pain and Gain" in Miami on Wednesday.

Question is ...

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he owes his ENTIRE career to a traumatic experience from his childhood -- a traumatic experience that inspired him to spend every waking hour in the gym.

The confessional was shot for a documentary which chronicled the build up to the Rock's upcoming match against John Cena at Wrestlemania XXVIII this weekend.

During an emotional car ride, Rock opens up about the time he and his family were evicted from their apartment in Hawaii when he was 14 years old.

Rock says he'll never forget the look of despair on his mom's face when she tried to explain why he couldn't sleep in his own bed that night.

As a result, Rock says he resolved to change his life forever ... so he'd never experience anything like that ever again -- and the change began in the weightroom.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is havin' a pretty good year -- despite GI Joe 2 -- because the former WWE star just bought himself a siiiiiiick new pad ... for $3.45 million.

The actor bought the 13,153 sq. ft. mansion in swanky Southwest Ranches, Florida -- from Miami Dolphins lineman Vernon Carey ... around Valentine's Day. The deal was brokered by The Campins Company ... owned by former "Apprentice" contestant Katrina Campins.

The VIP 5-bedroom, 7-bath palace features a ginormous swimming pool and even a home theater with its very own TICKET BOOTH -- where Rock can watch film classics like “The Scorpion King” and “Tooth Fairy" at his 275-pound leisure.

Stick that up your candy ass.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson says he's a HUGE Barack Obama supporter, but he'd still give the chief executive a run for his money -- claiming, "I'd make a DAMN good president."

Apparently, the guy riding in the back of the log wasn't feeling quite as tough that day.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is paying tribute to his fallen friend Macho Man Randy Savage ... saying, the wrestling legend was one of his "childhood inspirations."




The Rock just went to his Twitter page and wrote ..."RIP Randy "Macho Man" Savage - you were one of my childhood inspirations and heros. Strength, love and prayers to the Savage/Poffo family."

Former WWE superstar Kevin Nash has also posted a message ... saying, "I lost a close friend today. If anybody in heaven is wondering who the cat in the ugly cowboy hat is it's Randy. Love you Bro. Never another."

Mick Foley aka Mankind tells TMZ, "Though I only met Randy Savage a handful of times, he was one of my all-time favorite performers ... I loved his style, in the ring and on the microphone.

He adds, "I loved hearing stories about Randy and his wrestling family. From the incredible matches in the small towns throughout the south where he forged a legendary reputation before becoming a household name with WWE, to the tales of even more legendary thrift on the road - that I did my very best to live up to - Randy Savage had a profound effect on me."

Question is ...

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin rated The Rock's return to wrestling with one massive digit -- but instead of using his trademark middle finger salute ... dude gave the guy a "big thumbs up."



Austin was cruising through LAX yesterday when we asked him about The Rock's appearance at WrestleMania -- and dude had nothing but good things to say about it.

Among the complements ... Austin said The Rock is one of his "favorite opponents of all time."

11 years after a legendary WWE match between The Rock and Triple H -- a guy who was in the audience is suing the wrestlers ... claiming he was injured when the men ran into the crowd and knocked a female fan into his knee.



It's all in a Kentucky lawsuit filed by Ronald Basham -- who says he was 7-years-old at the time of the incident ... and too young to sue for himself.

According to the lawsuit, Ronald claims the wrestlers took the fight out of the ring and into the stands -- when The Rock shoved a spectator ... and caused a woman standing nearby to fall onto Ronald ... injuring his right leg and knee.

Ronald claims he sustained "severe and painful injuries" that will continue to bother him. In fact, Ronald says he recently had to undergo surgery on his leg as a result of the wrestling incident.

A rep for the WWE tells us they are "looking into the matter" but says they "don't comment on pending litigation."
