It's the most unlikely pairing in any lawsuit ever -- Justin Bieber and Eminem -- but believe it ... because they're at the center of a new legal war over a concert in Korea ... that will never happen.
A company called Moonstone Management just filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court -- claiming it hired another company named J-Mike in 2010 to recruit either Eminem OR Bieber for a concert in Seoul, Korea ... and J-Mike never delivered.
According to the lawsuit, Moonstone paid J-Mike a down payment of $300,000 to secure one of the stars -- but J-Mike strung them along for months with nothing to show for it ... and eventually called off the deal without returning the cash.
Now, Moonstone is suing for its money back -- plus other unspecified damages.
$66,000 per song ... that's how much money Eminemreportedly made to perform at a U.K. music festival this weekend -- and he performed roughly FIFTY songs!!!
Eminem hit the stage at the V Festival in England this weekend -- a two night affair. According to the British tabloid The Sun, Slim Shady (pictured above at the festival) raked in a cool TWO MILLION pounds for the 2 nights of work ... which translates to roughly $3.3 million.
Em reportedly performed for 90 minutes on both Saturday and Sunday night -- and was joined on stage by Rihanna... who is said to have received around $825,000 per night to perform as well.
Calls and emails to Em's reps were not immediately returned.
Recovery, indeed. Check out a snippet of the performance below.
Hugh Jackman hit up the Eminem/Jay-Z show in Detroit on Thursday -- and while he wasn't in full "White Man's Overbite" mode, he definitely stands out (and not just because he's Hugh Jackman).
In case you still believe the Eminem/Sacha Baron Cohen incident from the MTV Movie Awards was real... Em just proved you're a gullible Gary by admitting he was knee deep in Sacha's butt stunt.
Em became the 496th person to confirm the whole thing was planned, telling RapRadar.com, "Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag."
It looks as if, unlike some people, Em has emerged from this Bruno encounter unscathed.
Maroon 5 stud Adam Levine says he wouldn't mind getting a helping of ass to the face, depending on whose derriere it was -- and judging by the hot chick who rode on his hog, we doubt he wants Bruno's.
The head writer of the MTV Movie Awards has finally cleared up something everyone already knew anyway -- the cheeky exchange between Bruno's bare backside and Eminem's face was completely staged.
The L.A. Times spotted the following note on Scott Aukerman's website:
"Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then."
It was shades of Shaq last night at the MTV Movie Awards, when Sacha Baron Cohen gave Eminem a taste of "Bruno." The question -- was Eminem genuinely pissed or was it choreographed like a Britney concert?
Eminem called Mariah Carey a "f**king whore," called her hubby Nick Cannon a "punk" and joked about goin' pee-pee on Mimi -- so in comparison, this is probably the lamest attempt at a comeback ever.
It's a shock: it turns out Eminem and Mike Tyson are humanitarians, and not in the "we eat humans" kind of way.
The rapper and the former heavyweight champion of the world both appeared very normal on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night -- Kimmel even got Tyson to appear as a sane, non-violent citizen. Tyson claims that years of reflection have made him a changed person.
Before Eminem agreed to flip off a bunch of paparazzi in London yesterday, dude sent his massive gigantor bodyguard to threaten the living crap out of everybody ... and it worked.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
