Do you think
Evander Holyfield had any idea who "
Jersey Shore" stars Sammi and Deena were when agreed to pose for a pic with them last night at Chateau Nightclub in Las Vegas?

Us neither.
Evander Holyfield's wife is throwing in the towel in the war against the former boxing champ -- asking a judge to drop the protective order she obtained against him earlier this month.
According to court officials in Fayette County, GA,
Candi Holyfield pulled the plug on the order yesterday.
Candi had accused Evander of hitting her in the face, the back, and the back of her head after she complained that their children were cold because the heat had been cut off in their Georgia home.
In Candi's petition for the protective order, she also claimed Evander had been physical with her in the past -- saying he "choked me in front of our daughter and housekeeper" in 2008.
The two were scheduled to go head-to-head in court on Thursday -- but now that the order has been dismissed, the case is closed ... for now.

Former boxing heavyweight
Evander Holyfield is attempting to change up his child support payments -- claiming he's just not pulling in the cash he was 10 years ago.
According to documents filed last month in Cobb County Superior Court in Georgia, Holyfield wants his agreement with ex-wife
Janice Itson from 2000 modified because his "income has decreased."
The docs also say he now has other children "for whom he is also responsible to support."
According to his Wiki page, Holyfield has "at least" 11 children.
Super Bowl-bound Evander Holyfield will stay away from Tampa strip clubs -- all
43 of them. Evander was more than willing to pick a fight with our cameraman at the Tampa International Airport yesterday. And we're pretty sure the opponent E.H. picked to fight our guy could kick his ass.
Post-inauguration, all eyes are on Barack Obama. But when we got Mike Tyson victim Evander Holyfield in D.C., he wasn't paying as much attention to the President's ears as we would have hoped.

But, man, was he all about that airport food.
Evander Holyfield is off the hook -- for now! In a deposition this morning in Atlanta, the boxer handed out a $9K check to baby mama Toi Jenese Irvin to cover past due child support he owed her.
Holyfield also agreed to reinstate 10-year-old son Evan's health insurance, pay for his private school expenses, make sure a college trust is in place and pay for some of Irvin's attorney's fees.
Evander Holyfield better get back in the ring and make some money -- because according to court documents the boxer hasn't paid child support for his 10-year-old son Evan in three months!

Holyfield's baby Mama, Toi Jenese Irvin, is demanding Holyfield either pay his $9000 debt in full -- or go straight to the pokey. Irvin also says Holyfield dropped their son's health insurance -- something he's required to do by a judge.
In addition to Evan, Holyfield has ten other children.

Evander Holyfield has pulled a Bill Clinton, who famously translated the word "is". Evander now says there's a difference between being "broke" and "not liquid".
"I'm not broke. I'm just not liquid," the ex-champ tells the
Atlanta Journal-Constitution, insisting he didn't "blow" the hundreds of millions he scored in the ring.
His lawyers claim the 109-room mansion is no longer up for auction. Maybe he sold more of those "Real Deal" grills.
Evander made nearly $250 million from his fights over the last 24 years. And that doesn't include AFTRA scale for "Dancing."
Evander Holyfield made over $200 mil in the ring ... and probably another 10 grand or so on "Dancing with the Stars." So shocker -- seems he's broke.

Evander's home has gone into foreclosure and it's going on the auction block. On the home front, he's being sued for allegedly defaulting on a $550,000 landscaping bill. And, baby mama Toi Jenese Irvin is taking him to court for $6 grand in back child support.
Evander's rep was mum.
