A bloody and seemingly banged up Felicity Huffman was wheeled off the set of "Desperate Housewives" yesterday, as the cast and crew could only stare in amazement. But fear not D.H. fans, it's all part of the show.
The actress donned the battered housewife look for a dramatic scene in Canoga Park, Calif. No word on just who or what caused the injuries to Felicity's alter ego. Could this be the result of the much anticipated supermarket hostage situation promised by creator Marc Cherry? Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
Celebs Hit The Beach For Malibu Triathlon
The 20th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon was held this Sunday and TMZ was there for all the action. The event, which sells out four months in advance, benefits the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Celebrities and 2000 super-athletes hit Zuma Beach to swim, bike, and run- for a good cause.TMZ caught up with Brooke Burke, Jon Cryer, and David Duchovney as they stormed the beach in support the event. We also spotted A-list Hollywood couple Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy who were out for some quality time. The boys from NYPD Blue took home gold in the men's relay event.
The triathlon brought out some other LA heavy hitters like Sheriff Lee Baca, Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis and KROQ-FM DJ Stryker.
It's All About Eva
Citing Felicity Huffman's recent success in 'Transamerica' as an inspiration, Eva Longoria says she wants to be able to do both TV and film. Eva got her chance, via a personal invite from Michael Douglas, in the new thriller, 'The Sentinel.'
Longoria says she enjoyed offsetting the estrogen-dominated 'Desperate Housewives' with the testosterone-filled set of 'The Sentinel.'
The film, also starring Kiefer Sutherland and Kim Basinger, hits theaters April 21.
