Foxy Brown received a MAJOR scolding by a NY judge yesterday after she showed up two hours late for court -- but the singer's lawyer tells TMZ the timing error was completely his fault.



Salvatore Strazullo says he told Foxy Brown to be at court at 11:30 AM -- two hours after her scheduled 9:30 AM appearance -- insisting he had arranged with the Assistant District Attorney for the late arrival.

Foxy is in court for a 2010 arrest on charges of public lewdness, harassment, and criminal contempt when she was accused of mooning a neighbor ... thereby violating a protective order.

Strazullo feels Foxy should never have been reprimanded in court -- and plans to straighten out the mishap with the judge ASAP. 

Foxy's due back in court next month. Hope she's on time.

Foxy Brown's fingernails have once again landed the singer in hot water -- this time, she was booted off a Royal Caribbean cruise because she flipped out after missing her at-sea manicure appointment ... TMZ has learned. 


Passengers on the cruise tell TMZ, Foxy set up a nail appointment on the cruise ship last Monday -- a day after the cruise took off -- and showed up three hours late.

We're told the people at the salon couldn't accommodate her when she rolled around -- and Foxy went completely ballistic.

According to sources, security removed her from the salon and sent her back to her room -- where she remained under supervision until Wednesday ... when the ship dropped anchor somewhere in the Cayman Islands ... and authorities kicked her off.

We're told Foxy -- who performed on board the day before the incident -- was then escorted to an airport and flown home. Royal Caribbean had no comment. Attempts to reach Foxy were unsuccessful.

Brown has a storied history when it comes to cosmetics -- in 2004, she faced assault charges for allegedly beating up two nail salon employees ... and again in 2007 after allegedly beating up a beauty store employee.

Foxy Brown was escorted out of a fashion show party in NYC Wednesday night ... TMZ has learned -- after the female rapper allegedly showed up intoxicated ... long after she was scheduled to perform.


Sources at Red Bull Space in Soho -- which hosted the after party for Indashio's fashion show -- tell TMZ, Foxy showed up at 1:20AM ... ten minutes before the entire party was supposed to shut down.

We're told everyone was already on their way out when Foxy came in -- and decided to lock herself in a bathroom ... and refuse to come out.

According to sources, security was called ... and Foxy was physically removed from the building.

Foxy's rep had no comment.

Notorious troublemaker Foxy Brown left a NYC nightclub in the lurch earlier this week when she showed up for a gig nearly 4 hours late ... all because she didn't like the car they sent to pick her up.



Foxy was scheduled to perform at Splash Bar New York in Manhattan on Wednesday night, but the promoters of the gig tell TMZ they got an angry call from Foxy's people that night when the car they sent to pick her up arrived. Seems Foxy had requested a 2010 model SUV, but instead she got a 2009. It's odd she would care about what year the car was ... since she hasn’t had a hit since 1998.

We're told Foxy eventually gave in ... but showed up at the club only 30 minutes before closing. Foxy never took the stage -- claiming the promoters refused to pay her the other half of her $1,000 appearance fee.

A rep for Foxy tells us, “They promised they would give her the rest of the deposit and balance due when she arrived, but did not! Foxy was disappointed that the deposit and rider requirements were not met, that was all.”

The club's promoters are currently “discussing their legal options."

TMZ has learned Foxy Brown was in the middle of massive brawl tonight in the lobby of a New York City apartment building -- and she narrowly missed her second run-in with cops in just over a week.



Witnesses say Foxy was visiting someone at a luxury high-rise on 43rd Street when the fight broke out. A source tells us that Foxy was throwing down with several people in the lobby. It's unclear at this point what sparked the brawl.

We're told it took more than 10 people to break up the fight, and the NYPD eventually showed up on the scene -- but Foxy fled before the officers arrived. No arrests were made.

According to a source, one of the people Foxy fought with was her manager. When we called her manager she would only say, "No comment."

Eight days ago Foxy was arrested in NYC for allegedly mooning a neighbor and violating a protection order. She's been charged with public lewdness, harassment, and criminal contempt in that case.

Foxy Brown's bare ass has suddenly become relevant again -- after cops say the former platinum rapper bent over and mooned another woman in broad daylight yesterday.



As we previously reported, Brown was arrested yesterday in NY for allegedly violating a protective order filed by one of her neighbors ... allegations that Foxy flat out denies.

But in the official complaint, obtained by TMZ, the neighbor claims it all started when Foxy walked up to the neighbor's home and began yelling, among other things, "You dirty bitch ... what are you looking at?"

The neighbor then claims Foxy, "bent over and thrust [her] buttocks at the [neighbor] while shouting ... 'kiss my ass.'"

Foxy's manager claims her client was just walking to her car when the neighbor started yelling.

Brown is facing 6 criminal charges over the alleged incident, including public lewdness, criminal contempt, menacing and harassment.

UPDATE: Foxy just got officially charged with public lewdness, harassment, and criminal contempt. Her bail is set at $5,000.

Foxy Brown never incited the neighbor who had her arrested today for allegedly violating a protective order ... this according Foxy's manager.


Bernadette Brennan tells TMZ it all started as Foxy was walking to her car to go to rehearsal for her upcoming show at the B.B. King Blues Club in NY.

Brennan claims the neighbor came outside and started screaming at Foxy -- but the rapper just ignored her.

We're told Foxy went inside to avoid further confrontation -- and that's when the cops showed up.

As we first reported, the neighbor told cops a different story -- that Foxy verbally engaged her, a violation of the protective order the neighbor has against the rapper.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ...  Foxy Brown has been arrested in New York.

The jailers were constantly in her cell. According to one Post source "they were in her cell day and night" -- whatever she wanted she got.
