It hasn't been 2 months since Gerard Butler left rehab for substance abuse -- but last week, he was already back at an NYC bar, where he blew away the crowd with a knockout performance of "Wonderwall" ... and we got video!!!
Butler stopped by The Darby supper club in Manhattan last Thursday -- the actor didn't drink a drop ... but he did take the stage and perform several songs, including one by The Doors and another by The Rolling Stones.
But the best by far ... Butler's rendition of the Oasis classic "Wonderwall" -- you gotta check out the clip. After all.
Just two days after leaving rehab at the Betty Ford Center, a refreshed and healthier looking Gerard Butler hit up the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in L.A. on Sunday.
Butler spent three weeks in treatment after realizing he was relying too heavily on prescription medication.
TMZ broke the story ... Butler began using pain meds to deal with the pain caused by the intense physical training regimen to get in shape for "300" ... and the problem became exacerbated after he injured himself in a surfing accident while filming "Of Men and Mavericks" back in December.

As TMZ first reported, Butler developed a problem with pain medication following filming for his breakout role in "300." The problem returned when Butler was injured on December 18 while shooting the movie "Of Men and Mavericks."
Butler left rehab yesterday, with his manager releasing a statement that read, "Gerard left Betty Ford early this morning and he's healthy."

Butler's problems were triggered by the physical demands of shooting "300" in 2006 (see video below of Gerard preparing for the role). We're told the actor began struggling with pain management, and the problem became exacerbated while filming "Of Men and Mavericks," when Butler was badly hurt on December 18 during a surfing accident.
We're told Butler realized he was relying too much on prescription drugs and decided to head off a full-blown addiction by entering Betty Ford three weeks ago.
Sources tell TMZ ... Butler also developed issues with cocaine, but the root problem appears to be the injuries and pain management.
We're told Butler will be leaving Betty Ford later today.
If Gerard Butler really did have mind-blowing sex with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville -- as she proudly claims -- he doesn't remember it ... asking TMZ, "Who's Brandi Glanville?"
In case you didn't know ... Brandi -- Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife -- recently appeared on a talk show, announcing she once bumped uglies with Gerard for an entire week ... and it was so good, she rated him an 11 out of 10.
But either Butler has so much good sex, he can't remember every bangmates's name -- or Brandi's lying. Both are equally plausible.
Gerard Butler and a slew of other stars have been sued for allegedly stiffing two former employees out of overtime pay at a Hollywood restaurant the celebs co-own.
The ex-workers -- a cook and a dishwasher -- at Shin BBQ filed the suit today in Los Angeles County Superior Court ... claiming the owners cheated them out of wages, rest time, and meal breaks.
Shin BBQ is a popular Korean barbeque joint in Hollywood ... co-owned by Gerard, Dannyand Chris Masterson, Laura Prepon, and several others including Steve Aoki -- whose father Rocky founded Benihana.
The workers are asking for their back pay, other damages, and an order forcing the restaurant owners to open their payroll books.
