Heather Mills got shut down by a judge, who turned down her request to delay a settlement meeting over a lawsuit ... so she could ski her heart out in Aspen.
Heather was required to show up for a mediation by the end of March, but she filed papers on March 20 asking for permission to delay the hearing because she was training for the 2014 Paralympics -- in Aspen, of course.
Heather is being sued by her former publicist ... who claims she was a nightmare who made false allegations that Paul McCartney was a drug-abusing wife-beater. The publicity company also claims it got Heather a shot at being on "Celebrity Apprentice" but she would only agree if Trump would rig the competition so she would win -- Trump scoffed at her. And the publicists say Heather stiffed them on the bill.
Heather Mills is a manipulative jerk ... who spread horrible lies about Paul McCartney... and never paid her hairstylist for $5,000 haircuts ... this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
Mills is being sued by her former hair jockey David Paul -- who claims he's gussied up stars like Jennifer Tilly, Judith Light and ... um, Senator Dianne Feinstein.
David claims ... starting in 2005, Mills often hired him at his out-of-shop rate of $5,000-per-day ... to aid her in her quest to become a celeb in the U.S. According to the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, David claims Mills told him she couldn't afford to pay him up front, but promised she'd deliver the green when McCartney gave her money.
David claims Mills used his services at least 20 times ... but never paid up, even after she received a multi-million dollar divorce settlement from the Beatle.
But it gets worse, in the suit, David claims Mills would tell terrible lies about McCartney ... insisting he was "a cheap tyrant who was often a drunk and abusive husband." David claims he believed Mills at the time and even made a YouTube video to defend her.
David says Mills began to avoid him in 2008, after he made several requests for his paychecks ... which totaled $80,000 ... she never, ever paid him.
Now, David wants his money ... plus punitive damages.

Heather Mills' ex-publicist has filed a lawsuit against the former model, claiming Heather is a liar and a cheater who tried to fix the ending of "Celebrity Apprentice."
In the suit, Parapluie -- a publicity company -- claims Heather often made allegations about Paul McCartney to the firm, claiming he was a drunk, drug-abusing wife-beater. Sources connected with the publicity company tell TMZ ... they believe Heather made the abuse stories up.
The documents state, Heather told one of the publicists, "I could kill [Paul], last night, he tried to choke me. The marriage is over." Sources connected to the firm tell TMZ ... they believe Heather was lying.
According to the suit -- obtained by TMZ -- the publicity firm claims it got her a shot at being on "Celebrity Apprentice," but Mills would only accept the gig if Donald Trump guaranteed she would win. Trump denied her request.
The firm also says Heather lied when she said all of the money she made from "Dancing with the Stars" would go to charity. The firm claims only a portion went to charity.
The publicity company is suing for unpaid fees totaling $168,000.
Now that Brit Brit is living la vida non-loca, Heather Mills tries desperately to fill the pop tart's crazy shoes, er wig. Milling around Newark airport, McCartney's ex got a hold of Britney's left-over disguise props - Stupid wig? Check. Big sunglasses? Check. Fanny pack? Fanny pack?? - WTF?

After winning a divorce settlement of $48.6 million from Paul McCartney in court yesterday, Heather Mills celebrated like any normal limbless, dancing diva would - by reportedly dumping a glass of water on opposing attorney Fiona Shackleton's head! Shackleton walked out of court looking dramatically wetter then when she walked in. Mills told reporters that the lawyer had been "baptized in court."

Heather Mills is using a homemade video of the paparazzi as evidence in her divorce trial with Paul McCartney -- to show how she has been victimized since splitting with the former Beatle.
The video, posted on YouTube and Heather's own site, shows her being hounded by paparazzi, all the while the "Batman" theme is playing. At one point, Heather turns to the camera and says, "Someone could have been killed today."
Heather Mills broke down on British TV this morning, telling a reporter she considered suicide due to all the negative attention directed toward her family.
"They've called me a whore, a gold-digger," said the estranged Mrs. McCartney on GMTV this morning, crying as she told the reporter, "I've had worse press than a pedophile or murderer and I've done nothing but charity for 20 years!"
Mills also took aim at the paparazzi treatment -- even noting Princess Diana's death -- and said that offing herself had crossed her mind, and referring to her daughter, said, "If I'm dead, then she's safe and she can be with her father."
Heather's started a petition against British tabloid The Sun in an attempt to "stop the manipulation of the media ... It has come to the point where the attacks on Heather are less than human."
