Jesse James' ex Janine Lindemulder was thiiiiiiis close to smiling in her new mug shot -- taken when she was arrested for harassment at her home in Texas yesterday.

Sources tell TMZ ... Janine has called Jesse more than 25 times in the last few days -- and that was enough for cops to get a harassment warrant.

Janine is still in custody -- and is set to face a judge later this morning.

Jesse James' ex Janine Lindemulder was just arrested at her home in Texas  -- two days after a judge awarded him full custody of their daughter ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Janine was arrested for harassment.  You may recall ... Janine had been arrested for harassment earlier this year, and when she bailed out the judge ordered her not to harass or annoy Jesse.

We're told in the last few days she's called him more than 25 times, and that was enough for cops to get a harassment warrant, and that's why she was taken to the pokey.

Jesse James has emerged victorious in a nasty custody fight with his ex-wife -- the West Coast Choppers mogul was awarded sole custody of their 7-year-old daughter Sunny this week.



Jesse and his troubled porn star baby mama Janine Lindemulder have been at war for years -- but Monday, an Orange County, CA judge ruled in favor of Jesse.

Jesse currently lives in Austin, TX -- and his lawyer told People.com that if Janine moves to the Lone Star state to be near Sunny, she'll be ordered to complete an inpatient rehab first.

The lawyer says if Janine stays in California, she'll only get monitored visitation.

Janine Lindemulder, ex-wife of Jesse James, has posted bail and been released from jail in Austin, TX ... TMZ has learned.


As TMZ first reported, Janine was busted yesterday on three outstanding warrants for harassment ... after Jesse turned over a series of threatening emails and voicemails Janine had left for him.

She is due back in court March 11.

Jesse James' ex-wife Janine Lindemulder was arrested just outside Austin, TX this morning on a warrant for harassing Jesse in a series of "abusive" phone messages ... TMZ has learned.


Janine was popped by the Hays County Sheriff's Department who had three warrants issued for Janine after Jesse turned over threatening voicemail messages he says Janine left for him.

According to legal docs, Jesse claims Janine places "chronic harassing telephone calls to him all hours of the day and night." He says he has received 300 calls just since he moved to Texas. In the docs, Jesse says the calls became "so harassing, abusive and bad" that he turned over several messages to the Austin Police Department.

After she was busted, her truck was towed away (see below).


UPDATE: Janine's attorney didn't know about the arrest, but told TMZ that Janine made phone calls "out of frustration because he did not let her see or speak to her daughter for months."

UPDATE 2: We're told Janine probably won't be able to see a judge until tomorrow, so she'll remain locked up until then.

UPDATE 1/30: Janine went in front of the judge Sunday morning where she was charged with three counts of misdemeanor harassment and a bail was set at $6,000.

How's this for irony ... getting sued over a court appearance ... which is exactly what's happening to Jesse James' ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder.


We've learned the photog who went down hard during Janine's court appearance in October is filing suit against her, claiming she committed a battery against him and he suffered injury as a result.

So, members of the jury ...

Janine Lindemulder is mad and she's not gonna take it anymore! Take control of Jesse James' as she fends off a pesky pap with her favorite weapon ... a cup of coffee.

Cops just swarmed in on Jesse James' ex-wife Janine Lindemulder after she unloaded on a paparazzo ... outside of the courthouse in Orange County.


It all went down as Janine was entering court for a child custody hearing -- as several photogs followed her and snapped pics.

But it all came to a violent head once Janine got into an elevator -- and one photog got too close. Janine -- who was holding a warm drink in her hand -- swung at the photog, dousing him in liquid .. and sending him reeling backwards into a wall.

O.C. Sheriff's deputies moved in -- and are currently questioning Janine about the incident. The photog is on the way to the hospital.

Jesse James' ex-wife Janine Lindemulder claims he manufactured a threatening MySpace post in order to prevent her from seeing their daughter Sunny.



In new legal documents filed today Janine says Jesse took 6-year-old Sunny out of school early last month in Austin, TX and kept her away when Janine came to visit.

Janine claims Jesse was reacting to a post on her MySpace in which threats were made about abducting Sunny. In the papers, Janine says she did not write that post or a similarly toned email -- but instead believes Jesse made it all up.

In the filing Janine states, "This is not the first time [Jesse] manufactured evidence against me to prevent me from having custody of Sunny." She also claims she has forensic evidence her computer was hacked the day the MySpace post was made.

Janine is asking the court to maintain her current visitation rights.

Sandra Bullock is talkin' some serious smack about Jesse James' ex-wife ... according to new legal docs.



Jesse's ex, Janine Lindemulder, claims she was driving with daughter Sunny recently when the kid accused her of being a liar.

The conversation started innocently enough -- when Janine was explaining to Sunny it was wrong to lie. 

According to the docs, filed in O.C. Superior Court, Sunny blurted out, "Sandy said that you lied to the police and that's why you went to jail."

This isn't the first time Janine has claimed Sandra bad-mouthed her in front of Sunny ... as TMZ first reported, Janine alleges Sandra said within earshot of Sunny, "Quite frankly, I'm glad Janine is in jail. She can go ruin someone else's life."

Jesse James is going to have company in Texas ...because his ex-wife Janine Lindemulder claims she's moving to Austin to be closer to their daughter Sunny.



As we previously reported, the judge in their child custody case had ruled that Jesse could take Sunny to Austin, so she could be closer to her former stepmom Sandra Bullock ... who has a close relationship with the 6-year-old.

But this morning in an Orange County courtroom, Janine's attorney announced that the former porn star intends to follow Jesse to Austin ... and wants some money to help with the transition.

Janine wants $9,000 a month in child support -- with $3,500 of that earmarked for Janine's living expenses.  But she didn't get it .

For now, the judge ordered Jesse to pay Janine $50,000 for attorney's fees ... and set his child support rate at $2,000-per-month.

As for custody -- Janine will get Sunny on the weekends ... right after school lets out on Friday afternoons.

UPDATE: The judge just upped Jesse's child support payments to $3,000 a month. Outside of court, Janine told TMZ she considered today's hearing a "win" ... and that she's ready to head to the Lone Star State.
