Johnny Depp is being sued by a 52-year-old disabled woman who says she was roughed up and humiliated by the actor's bodyguards during a concert back in December ... claiming Depp's hired muscle beat her up and tore her pants off.

According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the woman -- who identifies herself as Jane Doe -- claims she was trying to get to her seat in the V.I.P. area of an Iggy Pop concert when Depp's goons went berserk.

In her suit, Doe -- who claims she's a professor of medicine at UC Irvine -- claims for no reason, Depp's team grabbed her from behind and bear-hugged her, while restraining both of her wrists.

Doe claims the bodyguards went after her cell phone -- which contained highly sensitive confidential medical information about her patients -- and ripped it from her hand "one finger at a time."

Doe claims a member of Depp's squad eventually put her in handcuffs -- and then dragged her on the ground, causing her pants to be removed from her body, "exposing her buttocks to  the other Hollywood Palladium Theater patrons.

Doe claims she suffered severe injuries in the incident -- including a dislocated left elbow, bleeding, swelling, bruising and possibly broken bones.

The woman also claims the incident caused more damage to her pre-existing spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia -- which affects her joints and back. 

Doe is suing for unspecified damages.

TMZ broke the story ... the woman had filed a report with the L.A.P.D. immediately following the incident ... and identified herself as Robin Eckert. Law enforcement sources tell us Eckert appeared intoxicated at the time she made the report.

We're told the case is still under investigation -- but law enforcement sources tell us the alleged victim has been less than cooperative.

George Jung -- the prolific cocaine smuggler portrayed by Johnny Depp in the movie “Blow” -- got a temporary get out of prison free card recently ... after doctors spotted a potentially cancerous growth on his face.

For those unfamiliar, Jung -- who's currently serving a 15-year stretch in Texas federal prison -- is credited with sparking the ‘80s cocaine frenzy ... even netting him a cool $100 million at one point.

TMZ has learned ... Jung was allowed to leave the confines of the prison in December ... and was transported to a nearby facility so doctors could remove a suspicious mole on his nose.

One source tells us Jung believes the mole is a direct result of the long hours he spent lingering in the Mexican sun -- hobnobbing and negotiating with the country’s top drug lords.

Prison officials are refusing to comment on Jung’s current health status, but our sources say the surgery was a success ... even though Jung remained shackled during the entire hospital procedure.

Jung was tossed back into the pokey afterward and is scheduled for release on Thanksgiving Day, 2014.

The LAPD has some questions for Johnny Depp -- and now, they're trying to track the actor down for an interview .... after his bodyguards allegedly beat up a disabled woman last week.

Robin claims she was seriously injured during the alleged attack -- and even went to the hospital to get herself checked out.

Law enforcement sources tell us, the LAPD would like to speak to Johnny and his bodyguards about the police report -- and are currently making attempts to interview all of them.

So far, no word from Johnny's rep.

Johnny Depp's hired muscle put a handicapped woman in the hospital Thursday night -- this according to a police report filed by the woman in question.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... 52-year-old Robin Eckert filed the report claiming she was celebrating her husband's birthday at the Iggy Pop concert in L.A. -- treating him to $600-a-pop seats at the Palladium ... and Johnny was seated right beside her, surrounded by bodyguards.

Eckert claims she was having a blast, dancing her face off ... when she accidentally strayed a little too close to Johnny's table.

According to Eckert, Depp's bodyguards pounced on her out of nowhere -- grabbing her wrists and wrestling her to the ground. Soon as she regained composure, Eckert says she left and got herself checked out at the hospital.

Eckert's assistant tells TMZ, Robin and her party had been drinking during the evening. Law enforcement sources tell us, Robin appeared wasted when she made the report.

Attempts to reach Depp's people were unsuccessful.

L.A.P.D. officers rolled over to Johnny Depp's L.A. mansion early Friday morning ... responding to a call about a possible breach in security ... but TMZ has learned, it was simply a "false alarm."

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Johnny wasn't home at the time ... but when officers arrived to the house, they checked out the property to make sure everything was okay.

Eventually, cops determined there was no actual threat -- and Johnny's house got the "all clear."

Johnny Depp left his imprint on Hollywood Boulevard over the weekend -- hitting the ground HARD after leaving a late night grub session Saturday night.

Depp seemed a little woozy as he left a fancy gastropub called 25 Degrees ... and while his friend tried to escort the actor to a waiting SUV, they both crashed hard to the pavement. 

Johnny got up ... and eventually made it to the car, where he flashed some kind of random salute to the paps ... apparently meaning he was okay.

Not content with his own image anymore, adult contemporary singer John Mayer did his best Johnny Depp impersonation as he left a medical building in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

George Jung -- Johnny Depp's real-life cocaine-dealing inspiration for the movie "Blow" -- is still locked up in prison ... but TMZ has learned Jung is in talks with a TV show interested in doing a special on his life behind bars.



Sources close to Jung tell TMZ ... producers from the National Geographic Channel show "Locked Up Abroad" have reached out to the infamous coke kingpin in the hopes of featuring him on a documentary-style special on his "experiences surrounding [Jung's] imprisonment and release."

We're told Jung -- who's still serving time in LaTuna Prison in Texas for drug smuggling -- was initially turned off by the idea ... but now, we're told, he's had a change of heart and wants to do it.

FYI -- "Locked Up" famously ran a similar movie-inspired episode last year -- featuring the real-life Henry Hill ... the guy who inspired "Goodfellas."

We're told Jung's business partners are slated to meet up with producers as soon as next week.
