Johnny Knoxville says he's been running through a gauntlet of emotions since his friend and "
Jackass" co-star
Ryan Dunn died last week ... ranging from mind-numbing sadness to anger directed at Ryan.

Knoxville went to his blog this weekend ... and explained why he froze up while speaking at Ryan Dunn's memorial service last week ... saying he tried his best, but "What came out were the mumblings of a man trying his best not to cry."
Knoxville writes, "Here is what I wished I could have told everyone then."
During the painfully honest blog, Johnny explains how much he loved Dunn -- he loved Dunn's "hair trigger laugh reflex ... Dunn was a great listener ... a great friend ... "as loyal as they come."
But midway through the tribute, Knoxville expresses his discontent with Dunn ... saying, "I'm becoming upset now because this isn't right, goddamnit. Ryan, I had to go wake up Madison and tell her you were gone. Do you know how hard that was?!! She loved you so much and I know you loved her, so why, buddy? Rocko will never get to know you like she did, nor will my daughter that is coming in October. I cry a lot about that."
Knoxville -- who refers to Dunn as his "brother" -- closed the post by saying, "I don't know what else to say right now, so I will close with I love you, Ryan. I have a lot of emotions swirling, but I want you to know I love you so very much."
When
Bam Margera claimed that doctors had to literally staple his head back together after a woman allegedly cracked him with a bat a few days ago -- he wasn't kidding.

Bam was hanging poolside in L.A. yesterday with a few of his "
Jackass" buddies -- when he gave us a look into his busted up melon.
After the peep show, Bam told us he thinks his alleged assailant is in big trouble with the law -- check out the video to get his side of the story.
Johnny Knoxville is putting his friend's genitals directly in harm's way -- so yeah, nothing new to see here.

If it looks like Knoxville is on a Ferris wheel trying to throw a basketball at a trampoline 60 ft. below so it hits fellow "
Jackass"
Chris Pontius in the family jewels ... well, then you're right. That's exactly what he's doing.
We're told Knoxville and his sidekick attempted the stunt -- filmed Friday in L.A. -- over 90 times ... without much success.
The two Jackasses have a history of getting testy.

Johnny Knoxville is a self-confessed jackass -- but says even he wouldn't
knowingly bring a grenade into an airport.
In a statement on
his website, Johnny says the wardrobe gal from a commercial shoot a few days back actually packed a "prop grenade" in his bag -- and he never knew it was there.
Law enforcement tells us Knoxville gave them the same story at LAX yesterday when he was stopped and cited for carrying a real grenade sans ammo.
Knoxville writes "Ah f**k was I bummed when I realized what had happened... They [the cops] were cool as they could be to me, considering the situation, and it is no one's fault but my own. I should have checked my goddamn luggage through and through."
Despite the hold up with security, he still made it to his flight on time and is now in Miami.
Hold the orange chicken -- "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville is running his own panda express!

The whack job was caught driving around L.A. with a seat-belted stuffed animal panda in his passenger seat. Maybe Johnny's auditioning for "Lars and the Real Girl, Part 2."
"In the Navy, yes, you can sail the seven seas. In the Navy, yes, you can put your mind at ease!" Johnny Knoxville showed up to upscale eatery Orso yesterday -- dressed in his best Navy uniform -- sporting a butch sailor's hat and powder blue button down shirt.
Giving no explanation for the ensemble, Knoxville left his business lunch with a suited exec -- and took off for the nearest port.
Taking a page from the Don Imus playbook, Johnny Knoxville rocked one hell of an offensive shirt to a birthday lunch for his good friend at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills yesterday. They don't call him a jackass for nothing!

Knoxville, a former Out Magazine cover boy, enjoyed a romantic two-hour lunch with his same-sex pal (seen on the shirt), before the two giddily strolled out of the posh eatery together.

LC. If you're a fan of reality TV then you probably recognize those one name monikers and the "characters" that go with them.
With every passing day there seem to be more and more reality shows filled with an
endless pool of wannabe stars clamoring for fame. While most will be forgotten faster than you can say Darva Conger, a rare few have managed to eek out legit careers. And by legit we mean more than just appearing on more reality shows.
TMZ reveals which reality stars have beaten the odds and gone on to become real stars.
Kelly ClarksonAt first, things didn't seem to look too good for America's first "Idol" winner. Shortly after obtaining the now illustrious crown,
Kelly Clarkson co-starred in the 2003 film "From Justin to Kelly" with "Idol" loser
Justin Guarini - may he rest in peace. The film turned out to be a flop of epic proportions. But the talented singer endured long enough to obtain new management and release the 2004 multi-platinum album "Breakaway," which featured 5 hit singles including the monster track "Since U Been Gone." While past "Idol" winners (and
Clay Aiken) have gone on to earn platinum-selling albums, Clarkson is the only "Idol" to receive the biggest musical career legitimizer there is -- two Grammy awards. We'd like to see Simon Cowell badmouth that!

It was another action-packed weekend in LA as TMZ's cameras hit the street for an exciting weekend version of
Star Catcher.
Outside Hollywood hot spot Hyde, we ran into "Girl Next Door" star Elisha Cuthbert with her boyfriend, Los Angeles Kings player Sean Avery.
The hockey star seemed a little overprotective of his blonde bombshell, going so far as to give an autograph seeker the evil eye and a few choice words.
Christina Aguilera was spotted heading into Les Deux sporting her platinum blonde look and dressed to impress. The Grammy winning pop star showed up to the trendy spot with her standard "large" entourage getting out of a white Bentley and setting off flashbulbs.
Also out on the town over the weekend were Mary-Kate Olsen, Sean Lennon, "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville, Josh Charles, and funny man David Spade
All this and much more in this weekend version of Star Catcher.
