It's a good thing Jeffrey Wright hasn't been waiting by the phone -- because seven months after he was brutally tased and pepper sprayed by cops in Shreveport, he says he still hasn't gotten an apology.

Wright and co-star Josh Brolin were arrested and charged with interfering with a cop during a bar brawl last July. But under the terms of a plea deal, as long as they don't have run-ins with the law from now 'til March 11, all charges will be dropped.
86% of TMZ users think the Shreveport, LA cops should be prosecuted after pepper spraying Josh Brolin and tazing Jeffrey Wright last July. Josh was a man of few words at LAX last night, but he, like Obama, is into the popular vote.
Moments after Josh Brolin was pepper sprayed, handcuffed and thrown in the back of a cop car in Shreveport last year, the actor was caught on tape trying to cheer up his tasered pal Jeffrey Wright -- with a game of kissyface.

New dashcam video from inside the police cruiser shows a shockingly jovial Brolin laughing his ass off while Wright tries to explain to his "W" co-star how he was just tasered by police.
The video is bizarre -- and chocked full of candid banter, with quotes like "My wife is gonna be so happy."

Watch what happens to this woman as she's interrogated for a DUI. The cop in the video was eventually fired.
WARNING -- the video is graphic.

George W. Bush really could be this dumb: Turns out he may actually have seen "W.", and actually liked it.
So says Josh Brolin, the guy who played the Prez in Oliver Stone's flick. He tells the
Chicago Sun-Times, "I understand he's seen the picture, and liked it." Let's review: The film is two hours of Bushie boozing, womanizing, choking dramatically on pretzels, and leaving pretty much the fate of the Western world up to Dick Cheney and Karl Rove, chuckling all the while.
Of course, the official line from the WH is the president has had "much more important things to do than comment on this ridiculous movie."
Josh Brolin claims video of him seemingly
man-handling Sean Penn was simply tricky editing.
Brolin, who was out with wife Diane Lane (haven't seen them together in a while), was seen hugging and kissing Sean's wife, Robin, last month -- very touchy feely. There was also video of Josh appearing to manhandle Sean outside the same restaurant where he was touching on Robin.
Brolin told us last night that he's "best of friends" with Sean. BTW, he's been seen out with Sean since the other video was shot.
Josh Brolin got physical with Robin Wright-Penn in a touchy-feely way and her on-again husband Sean Penn in a pushy-shovey way outside of a Santa Monica bar over the weekend.
The wobbly and profanity-screaming Brolin is not the ideal third for the Wright-Penn duo; he was
arrested last weekend over an alleged bar fight in Shreveport.
The PoPo in Shreveport are blowing off accusations of
racism in the arrest of Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, saying they've found no proof of an alleged racially-fueled rant.

A spokesman for the Shreveport PD tells TMZ the chief has reviewed all in-car audio and video and found the officers used "professionalism" in the arrests. We're told witnesses at the scene say the arresting officers used extremely foul language -- including the "N" word -- and there's cell phone video of at least a portion of the confrontation.
We're also told other officers heard the offensive tirade, but Shreveport police tell us none have come forward. So far, the Department has not taken any action against the officers.
Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, who were arrested this past weekend at a Shreveport, La. bar, were pepper sprayed and tased by cops. And, we're told, police went on a vulgar rant -- and portions were caught on cell phone video.

The incident occurred during a wrap party for Oliver Stone's movie "W" about the Prez. Local station KTBS reports and TMZ sources say Wright, who plays Colin Powell, was repeatedly tasered and pepper sprayed as he lay prone on his stomach in the street. We know witnesses heard the officers using extremely foul language, including the "N" word, directed at Wright.
Our sources say Brolin was observed by witnesses attempting to make peace and standing still as he was repeatedly sprayed in the eyes by cops.
The city attorney has not decided whether to file criminal charges against Brolin, Wright or the others for interfering with a police officer.
Actors Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Wright and five other crew members of the Oliver Stone directed film, "W." were popped by cops outside Stray Cats bar earlier this morning in Shreveport, LA.

Apparently a crew member of the movie was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest. That's when police say Brolin, Wright and the others interfered. According to the
Shreveport Times,
the actors allegedly put up such a fuss that the police at the nightclub had to call for backup.
Brolin and Wright were both arrested during the melee.
Calls to their reps have not been returned.
