With scorching heat and humidity in New Orleans, super hunk Josh Duhamel had the luxury of a sweat wiper to dry off the perspiration from the back of his neck while on the set of his latest movie with Rosario Dawson on Wednesday.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel's cross-country flight had to be diverted for a passenger's medical emergency -- and it was the couple's bodyguard who sprang into action to help save the man's life!


Sources on the late night flight from NY to LA tell us a passenger began vomiting, then had a seizure. We're told Fergie and Josh's bodyguard, Pascal -- a mountain of a man -- jumped up to help flight attendants move the passenger into the aisle.

We're told a doctor, who happened to be on board, performed CPR -- then Pascal moved the man to the back of the plane, where flight attendants attached him to a heart monitor.

The flight was diverted to Las Vegas ... and the passenger received treatment at a nearby hospital.

In true hero fashion, Pascal was mum about the incident when they got to LAX -- but Josh was quick to sing his praises.

Celebrities get mistaken for other celebrities all the time ... like Josh Duhamel ... who says he's been confused with all sorts of famous people ... including one very famous "American Idol" star ...

Before Josh Duhamel had a run-in with a flight attendant on a plane ... he had a run-in with a car on the streets of NYC. 


As TMZ first reported, Duhamel was escorted off of a flight from NY to KY after he refused to turn off his BlackBerry.

The pics (above) were taken after Josh left FAO Schwarz with Fergie, but hours before he went to the airport. The slip was totally innocent -- Josh and Fergie were being following by paparazzi as they got in their car to leave the famous toy store.

Josh Duhamel was escorted off of a plane yesterday after he refused to turn off his BlackBerry ... sources tell TMZ.


We're told Duhamel was on a flight from New York (LGA) to Kentucky -- when, according to sources, the flight attendant asked Duhamel to turn off his BlackBerry before takeoff ... but he refused.

One passenger tells us Duhamel was "very rude" and "taunting the attendant."

We're told the flight attendant asked Josh to turn off the device three separate times -- and on the third time Josh laughed at his request.

We're told Duhamel's reaction infuriated the attendant, who then called for backup -- and the plane, which was already on the runway, was turned back to the gate.

Two US Airways reps eventually boarded the plane and escorted Duhamel off of the aircraft.

We're told passengers were pissed -- because the incident further delayed the flight.

Before boarding the plane, we're told Josh was in the airport bar watching the Cleveland/Miami game.

Duhamel's rep told TMZ Josh was texting on his BlackBerry about his flight being delayed.  The rep adds, "He's sorry."

Fergie got cheeky in south Brazil yesterday with husband Josh Duhamel -- the same day Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Tyrese and the rest of the "Fast and the Furious 5" cast hit the beach in Rio.


"Fast Five" is scheduled to begin filming any day now in downtown Rio de Janeiro. But as for Fergie ... we're told the Black Eyed Peas tour just happened to hit Brazil at the same time ... just a few hundred miles south in Florianópolis.
