Justin Chambers is finally getting some shut eye.

As TMZ first reported, the "Grey's Anatomy" star checked into UCLA Medical Center last month for treatment of a "sleeping disorder." By the looks of it, the treatment worked -- Chambers was caught catching some zzzzzzs poolside at Two Bunch Palms yesterday in Palm Springs. McSleepy.

Since spending time in a psych ward for "exhaustion and a sleeping disorder," "Grey's Anatomy" doc Justin Chambers is turning to what looks like the Bible for guidance.

Justin was snapped getting his higher power on at a local L.A. coffee shop on Tuesday. Amen.

TMZ tried to get an update from Justin Chambers' "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Ellen Pompeo about his release from a UCLA psych ward on Wednesday. She wasn't exactly thrilled about the question.


Pompeo and her husband were running into a screening when TMZ caught them -- and Pompeo completely stonewalled us. Next time, we'll make an appointment.

TMZ has learned actor Justin Chambers, Dr. Alex Karev on "Grey's Anatomy," checked himself in to the psych ward at UCLA Medical Center this week. Yes, it's the same place ...

Chambers' rep confirmed to TMZ that star checked in on Monday and checked out yesterday.

The rep claims Chambers, a married father of five, was "exhausted and suffers from a sleeping disorder. He went in voluntarily to get some help."

Chambers was in the same ward where Britney is being treated.
