Having given birth eight months ago, Kate Hudson flaunted her hot mother-of-two body in a sexy striped bikini while at the beach in Cancun this weekend.

Los Angeles Clippers star Baron Davis is being sued for allegedly firing a "dirt clod" at a paparazzo's face -- and according to the suit, it all went down at Kate Hudson's place.


The photog -- not our guy -- claims he and a pack of shutterbugs were "legally standing on public property" outside of Kate's L.A. home back in 2008 when Kate and Baron arrived.

According to the suit, the photog claims Baron, "apparently unnerved by the media attention, picked up a dirt clod and threw it" ... striking the pap in the face and eyes.

The photog claims he suffered some serious damage to his eyeball -- and wants Baron to fork over more than $25,000 to make things right.

Kate Hudson is finally out of the danger zone in her war over volcanic ash -- 'cause the actress just called a truce with a hair care company that accused her of ripping off their explosive beauty secret.



As TMZ first reported, a company called 220 Labs sued Hudson back in 2008, claiming they sent her free samples of their products -- which contained volcanic ash -- and then discovered Hudson stole the idea and created her own line of ash-based products.

But now, the case has officially been dismissed after the two sides reached a settlement. An attorney for 220 tells us, "My clients are delighted it has been settled ... everyone was pleased with the result."

Calls to Hudson's reps have not been returned.
