Jack Osbourne's adorable bulldog
Lola -- who famously tore up couches and peed all over the place on the family's MTV reality show -- has died at the age of 12.
Lola wasn't just a reality star ... she was a Twitter sensation as well, racking up more than 8,800 followers.
Jack broke the news a few hours ago ... tweeting, "Thank you all for the kind words about @PrincessLolaO it's nice to know she was loved by so many people."
He added, "Lola you were the best friend anyone could ever have. I will love you and miss you always. RIP @PrincessLolaO 00-12."
Lola's Twitter page was also updated with a message ... reading, "Thank you ALL for your kind words. I'm in a better place now. Heaven needs a new princess : )"

It was not a Merry Christmas in the Osbourne home yesterday -- their beloved chihuahua Martin died.
Kelly Osbourne passed on the sad news via Twitter yesterday, writing, "today is a sad day in the Osbourne family house hold we lost R dog martin of 14 years. Devastated does not quite sum it up!
#NotSoMerryXmas"
On Sharon's website, Martin is described as "a sophisticated little creature. Shunning the affection of women, Martin prefers the love of a good man."
RIP.

Amy Winehouse's father Mitch gathered at a London club on Thursday to commemorate the late singer's life. Also in attendance were
Mark Ronson and Amy's boyfriend Reg Traviss.
The cause of Amy's death has yet to be determined.
Amy Winehouse's funeral is underway at a cemetery in North London -- and,
Mark Ronson -- who produced most of her "Back to Black" album -- and
Kelly Osbourne have arrived to pay their respects.
As a tribute to Amy .... Osbourne showed up to the Edgwarebury Cemetery wearing the singer's signature beehive style hairdo.
As for who's NOT showing up, sources tell TMZ her ex-husband,
Blake Fielder-Civil -- who's currently serving 32 months in prison for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm -- was denied release to attend the funeral.
Amy was found dead on Saturday at her home in London -- the cause of death has not been determined.

Kelly Osbourne better have some of her "
Dancing with the Stars" money left -- because the State of California claims she owes over $30k in back taxes from the year she appeared on the show.
According to documents filed in L.A. County, and obtained by TMZ, Kelly owes $34,763.30 in unpaid taxes from 2009.
That's the year she placed 3rd on "DWTS" ... and we all know celebs don't wear spandex for free.
Calls to her reps have not been returned.
