Now that she's done terribly portraying Bella Swan in "Twilight," Kristen Stewart enjoyed attempting a smile to pose for pics with her "On the Road" co-star Kirsten Dunst in Cannes this week.

"Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were spotted out in L.A. Saturday ... which would TOTALLY be a big deal ... if they were in "Hunger Games."

Looking more appropriate for a walk of shame than to walk a red carpet, Reese Witherspoon, Kristen Stewart and Chelsea Handler sported some serious morning after hair at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.



Sometimes even the pros need to brush up.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart finally had a moment to themselves the other day -- thanks to the actions of some quick thinking cops.


Sources involved in the situation tell us Rob and Kristen were on their way home from LAX airport earlier this week -- when they noticed several paparazzi weaving through traffic to keep up.

We're told ... the couple -- concerned for their safety -- ducked into a nearby police station, hoping the cops could help out.

We're told the officers figured out a way to sneak the "Twilight" stars out of the building ... and they were able to get back on the road ... without the paps on their tail.


 

While some looked precious at the Oscars, others grabbed outfits straight out of the hurt locker.

Kristen Stewart's civic duty involved sex, prostitutes and an undercover cop -- and the guy on trial even got a happy ending.

TMZ has learned Stewart was a member of an L.A. jury this week in a 3-day case involving a man accused of trying to pay an undercover cop for some temporary lovin'.

The defense argued that their client was innocent because he doesn't speak English very well and the whole sex solicitation thing was just a case of lost in translation.

In the end, the "Twilight" star -- along with her peers -- agreed with the defense and found the man not guilty.

After the trial, we're told Stewart was so proud of her contribution to society that she asked if she could keep her juror badge ... and they let her.

That $140 million "New Moon" pulled in is proof enough that you Twi-hards will watch anything Bella and Edward related -- so here's video of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson together last night at LAX.
