Here's
Mark Ruffalo playing not-so jolly green giant the Hulk in the upcoming "
Avengers" movie, following in the muscled footsteps of
Edward Norton in the 2008 film "The Incredible Hulk,"
Eric Bana in the 2003 Ang Lee version "Hulk" and
Lou Ferrigno in the classic '70s TV series "The Incredible Hulk."
Question is ...

Lou Ferrigno --
Michael Jackson's friend and fitness guru for decades -- tells TMZ MJ showed no signs of physical distress during workouts, as recently as 2 weeks before the singer died.
Lou's account differs from some of the
statements in court -- that Michael was deteriorating in the weeks before his death.
Lou says two weeks before Jackson died, he went to MJ's home and trained him for an hour. Michael did cardio on the treadmill, used the exercise ball, worked with some light weights, completed a bunch of core exercises, and did a lot of stretching.
Lou says Michael's energy level was very good, but he did complain that he was upset because he was having trouble sleeping.
Lou says he had been training Michael 2 to 3 times a week for the tour ... and aside from seeming "very stressed out," he appeared in good health.
And this is eerie ... Lou says as he left Michael's house the last time -- two weeks before MJ's death -- Jackson said, "Take care of yourself." Lou said, "I'm going to see you next week." Michael just repeated, "Take care of yourself." Lou feels Michael knew something bad was about to happen.
Arnold Schwarzenegger,
Lou Ferrigno and
Richard Simmons each brought their legendary physiques to
Jack LaLanne's memorial service in L.A. yesterday to honor the late, great "Godfather of Fitness."

The famous fit club joined Jack's widow Elaine and his son at the Forest Lawn service.
LaLanne died on Jan. 23rd at the age of 96.
Lou Ferrigno hasn't played the
Hulk since 1982 -- but judging by his 57-year-old shredded torso, you still wouldn't like to fight this guy when he's angry.
Sucks to be the girl squished next to Lou Ferrigno on his cross-country flight yesterday -- this guy is still frickin' massive.
A spy on board the original Hulk's plane from Newark to LAX says he was packed tightly in the front row -- of coach! -- making for what must have been one long, uncomfortable flight.
He seemed OK at baggage claim afterwards -- and no sightings of any angry green giants were reported.
Lou Ferrigno might not turn green and start bursting through his t-shirt anymore, but pity the celebutard who rubs the law the wrong way in L.A. county, now that he's a reserve Deputy Sheriff!

The TV Hulk and former Mr. Universe -- who, we're told, has just been offered a role in the "Hulk" film sequel -- was the keynote speaker at Sheriff Lee Baca's graduation ceremonies, and he's gotten a Level II training certification. The legend begins!
But what's with heat-packin'?
The Hulk doesn't need a gun!

Pull out your legwarmers and start teasing your hair -- the '80s have returned.
All your favorite stars from back in the day were out in force last night, including the one and only Scott Baio, proving that while his career may be dead, Chachi himself is not. And though we're not sure you'd want it, the former "Charles in Charge" star even passed off some of his legendary "mojo" to you lucky viewers.
Other stars at the VH1's "Totally Awesome" launch party included "Family Ties" Tina Yothers, "Wonder Years" older bro Jason Hervey, Poison rock star C.C. DeVille and "The Hulk" himself, Lou Ferrigno -- who all
got down on the dance floor.
No '80s evening would be complete without some killer tunes from the synth-heavy age of music, with the highlight of the evening being Tiffany singing her breakout hit "I Think We're Alone Now." She's clearly a long way from the mall tours of her youth ... though we're not sure that's a good thing.
