Jennifer Lopez desperately wants to bring her children on her upcoming world tour with Enrique Iglesias -- just one problem ... the kiddies are not allowed to cross California state lines.

When J.Lo and her soon-to-ex husband Marc Anthony filed for divorce -- the judge ordered both sides to keep Emme and Max within the confines of Cali unless they get permission from the court.

So J.Lo has filed documents ... explaining that both she AND Marc are about to embark on separate concert tours ... and they both want time with the kids while on the road.

In the docs, Lopez says she and Marc will be able to work out the scheduling.

A hearing is set for June 26. J.Lo's concert tour with Enrique is set to kick off in July.

Jennifer Lopez isn't the only one running around town with a hot piece of ass who's half her age ... Marc Anthony's got a hard-bodied 24-year-old of his own ... and last night, he trotted her out in a SKIN-TIGHT sausage-casing of a dress.

Marc Anthony held out hope for a reconciliation with Jennifer Lopez, but decided to file for divorce when she told him ... she's madly in love with BF Casper Smart ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Marc filed for divorce Monday -- nine months after the couple announced they were splitting.

But sources extremely close to Marc tell us, he didn't make the decision on his own -- he had a heart-to-heart with J.Lo a few weeks back to see if she really, truly wanted to end the marriage.

We're told he said he wanted to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed ... she was deeply in love with Casper ... and wanted to pursue that relationship.

We're told Marc was blindsided ... he had not idea things were so serious -- and he was hurt.

So that's why Marc filed divorce papers this week.

Marc cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for divorce.

In the papers, filed April 9 in L.A. County Superior Court, Marc is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple's twins, Emme and Max -- who are 4 years old.

Marc wants the judge to shut the door on Jennifer if she asks for spousal support.

Marc does not list a specific date of separation, but the couple announced their split back in July.

They married in 2004.   This will be Jennifer's 3rd divorce and the numero dos for Marc.
He wants each party to foot the bill for their own attorney's fees.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have found the secret to getting along -- splitting up.

Sources very close to the former couple tell TMZ ... months before the breakup, there was virtual radio silence between the two. We're told when they did talk, it was loud and contentious ... often ending in tears on Jennifer's part.

But since the split, we're told their bond has materially strengthened. They are communicating and co-parenting well and not fighting at all.

We're told they're actually happy to do joint appearances for their new show, as well as charity work.

Sources say a number of people around them are saying there are signs of a possible reconciliation, although it is by no means certain.

Marc Anthony is making things permanent with his new 24-year-old hottie -- by branding himself with a tattoo of the Statue of Liberty ... a tribute to his GF and his new found "freedom."

Sources close to the singer tell TMZ ... Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima was with Marc when a spot-on replica of Lady Liberty was tatted inside his right wrist on New Year's Eve in Miami. Marc's 17-year-old daughter Ariana (above, right) was also front and center.

We're told "Statue of Liberty" is Marc's pet name for Shannon ... because she "freed" him from his past. While he was at it -- Marc and Ariana also got unspecified matching tats on their outer wrists.

Fun fact: A "Jennifer" tattoo used to be on Marc's right wrist. Let freedom ring. 

Jennifer Lopez got in a classic post-divorce jab on Marc Anthony -- flaunting her now wedding-ring-free left hand in her ex's face ... as they sat inches apart.

J.Lo and Marc reunited briefly yesterday at a Pasadena news conference to promote their upcoming talent search TV show for Univision. The former couple shared a stage and answered a few questions ... but only about the show.

We know it was probably unintentional, but Marc is definitely checking out that hand.

No apparent hard feelings though -- as they even held hands and hugged for promotional photos. It's not just politics that makes strange bedfellows.

Marc Anthony clearly wants to show he's a cooler boss than Jennifer Lopez -- treating his 14-person staff to an all-expenses-paid vacation ... to the Dominican Republic!!! 

Sources close to Marc tell TMZ, Marc took his immediate staff on a vacation retreat to DR as a holiday present to thank them for their hard work.

We're told Marc put the staff up at an exclusive resort for 5 days in La Romana -- and comped meals, drinks, and entertainment.

But it wasn't all mindless self-indulgence -- Marc and his staff also paid a visit to the city's Niños de Cristo orphanage to spend some time with the less fortunate (below). Your move, J.Lo.

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were together in Puerto Rico last week -- but we're told there's no reconciliation here ... it was was strictly business.

The ex-couple went to the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, according to the Puerto Rican website Primera Hora ... where they were filming their upcoming Latin talent competition show, "¡Q'Viva! The Chosen."

We're told they watched auditions last Tuesday night and seemed like they were having fun together.

The show is scheduled to air in the U.S. on Univision in early 2012.
