Mena Suvari's divorce war is over ... the actress has reached a settlement with her ex ... and she won't have to spend one dime on the guy ever again.
TMZ broke the story ... Mena's husband Simone Sestito was demanding $17k per month in spousal support ... claiming Mena makes a FORTUNE and he got used to living the good life.
But Mena's rep tells TMZ the two talked things out in private and were able to bury the hatchet -- "They have amicably resolved their financial differences outside of Mediation and Court."
The rep says, "Neither party will pay the other any support."
We're told the two remain friends ... and wish each other future success.
Mena Suvari's soon-to-be ex-husband is an admitted business failure ... so he wants Mena to fork over a whopping $17,000/month in spousal support as part of their divorce ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs filed earlier this week, Simone Sestito claims he has "negative balances" on all his personal and business accounts and has been forced to pay his bills with credit cards and loans from his parents.
Sestito claims Mena makes $750,000/year, which includes a terrible Captain Morgan ad campaign she did that netted her $225,000.
Sestito claims he got used to eating out "almost everyday at high end restaurants" and lists his estimated monthly eating out expense as a whopping $3,000/month. A Happy Meal every once in a while wouldn't hurt!
Sestito is looking for $17,151/month in spousal support, plus an additional $10k for attorney fees.
A judge has yet to rule.
Mena's lawyer, Mark Gross, tells TMZ ... "It is unfortunate that Simone has chosen the spotlight of litigation over the privacy of mediation."
Mena Suvari's Vatican wedding is ending in divorce ... TMZ has learned.
The 32-year-old "American Beauty" actress has filed court papers to end her marriage to 25-year-old concert promoter Simone Sestito.
The two were married back in 2010 at a private church in Vatican City.
According to the divorce papers, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court by Mena's attorney Mark Gross, Mena is blaming the split on "irreconcilable differences."
Mena wants the judge to PREVENT Simone from getting spousal support. She also wants the judge to change her name back from Mena Suvari-Sestito to good, ol' Mena Suvari.
In the docs, Mena lists the date of separation as Nov. 1, 2011. The two have no children together.
It's Mena's 2nd divorce -- she ended her 5-year marriage to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann in 2005.
Lindsay Lohan says it's "pathetic" that Mena Suvariand Dania Ramirez dragged her name into a parody video spotlighting her much-publicized misfortunes.
Mena and Dania just released the spoof targeting the likes of Kim Kardashian and, of course, Lindsay. In one scene faux LiLo (Mena) pretends to shop as she stuffs her clothes with jewelry.
But we're told Lindsay feels as if Mena and Dania are using her to stay relevant.
Lindsay -- who is developing a habit of suing people who use her name -- has decided she won't take legal action because she considers their conduct "petty."
Sounds like a great "People's Court" case. Just sayin' ...
As always, TMZ caught up with stars who refused to be fazed by the stare of the camera lens or pressing questions; Mena Suvari was one starlet who couldn't be bothered, and an uncharacteristically un-chatty John Mayer.
And then there are those who will give you a novel's worth -- like hot mommy Milla Jovovich. She answered all we had to ask ... after mistaking us for some other site.
Jack Nicholson entered and exited the Arclight theatre in Los Angeles last night, along with film gunslinger Clint Eastwood, attending AFI's blabbity-blah whatever they do nonsense.
Leather-lovin' guitarist Dave Navarro and birthday girl Lauren Conrad partied at Les Deux, while Mena Suvari look-alike Rumor Willis roamed Beverly Hills. Always hot Carmen Electra hit up the El Rey theater for the Mark Ronson concert, as did Misha Barton, wearing rib-high hipster knickers.
New York City saw reality judge/shrike Sharon Osbourne, and Rumor Willis look-alike Mena Suvari, and speedwalker Penelope Cruz.

When he finally made it to his car, a passing vehicle full of girls began following the Nickelodeon favorite.
Also on the town over the weekend: Mena Suvari, the legendary Al Michaels, 1998 superbowl MVP John Elway, leviathan heir Jason "Gummi Bear" Davis (wearing a white, single-button jacket that miraculously managed to hold its seams), a playful Nicollette Sheridan, and a self-promoting Pheobe Price.
Mena Suvari was spotted at a trendy Melrose boutique -- working! Suvari recently hit the hip Suzanne Felsen jewelry shop in search of a pair of large hoop earrings with a bright gemstone that she could wear every day. (The Fred Leighton loaners are for Oscar night!) But when Mena arrived at the A-list haunt, it was so busy that she wound up waiting until closing time -- and helped the staff put away all the displayed jewelry! Now that's an "American Beauty."
Luckily, Mena's hard work paid off; she found a pair of 18K white gold hoops with amethysts, which retail for $3200, so says StyleChic's Aly Scott. Hopefully, she got the employee discount!
