Fox News host Mike Huckabee claims Oscar winner Natalie Portman is a bad role model for America -- all because she got knocked up before marriage. 



Huckabee went on a radio show Monday and said, "One of the most troubling things is that people see a Natalie Portman or some other Hollywood starlet that boasts of, hey look, we're having children, we're not married, but we're having children and they're doing just fine."

Portman is engaged to her baby daddy -- co-star Benjamin Millepied.

Huckabee -- a Republican who could make a run for the White House -- added, "There aren't really a lot of single moms out there that are making millions of dollars each year by being in a movie"

"I think it gives a distorted image that not everybody hires nannies and caretakers and nurses. Most single moms are very poor, uneducated, can't get a job, and if it weren't for government assistance, their kids would be starving to death and would not get healthcare."

So far, Portman has yet to respond.

Mike Huckabee was cornered at LaGuardia Airport yesterday ... forced, we thought, to take a stand on Joe Biden's body of work.

He may have lost his bid for the presidency, but Evangelical Christian Mike Huckabee still rocks out harder than John McCain -- playing with his band Capitol Offense at a Minneapolis club last night.

Good thing this guy dropped out of the race, cause we certainly don't need this brand of presidential "humor."


Former candidate Mike Huckabee was speaking Friday to the NRA, when there was a loud bang. Instead of continuing his speech, he aimed a joke at Barack Obama. *crickets*

Huckabee apologized for his "offhand remark," saying it was not "intended to offend or disparage Senator Obama." Obama, for his part, refused to comment.

Because what's funnier than killing a U.S. Senator?!

President wannabe Chris Dodd has a mortal fear at barber shops -- and the fear is misplaced.

Scott Sales, owner of Executive Forum Barber Shop in Des Moines, tells TMZ when Dodd got clipped yesterday, he had one stern instruction -- don't make it too short.

Here's the prob. We did some checking with image consultants who told us that short hair is a sign of strength. Long hair shows weakness, hiding! Dude, you're running for prez -- you want to be a Bed Head.

Dodd may be off on length, but not generosity. He tipped $18. That's a 100% gratuity! For a barber, that's what you call a super cut.
