Mel Gibson has just been snubbed by the premier Jewish organization in America -- he's nowhere to be found on the 10 most anti-Semitic list.

The
Simon Wiesenthal Center just released its "2010 Top Ten Anti-Semitic Slurs" list:
Topping this year's list -- former White House journalist Helen Thomas who famously said, "Jews should get the hell out of Palestine. They should go home to Germany, Poland, America and everywhere else."
The also-rans include:
Oliver Stone, a former CNN host and a political leader.
Remember, Oksana Grigorieva claims Mel told her -- referring to one
Harvey Levin -- "
I want Jew blood on my hands." Harvey didn't believe Mel really said that, and apparently neither did the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
Director
Oliver Stone and Venezuelan
dictator president
Hugo Chavez got very close at the NYC premiere of Stone's new documentary on Wednesday.

Question is ...
Mr. Chow gave us a heaping helping of big name celebs last night! Bring it!
Aussie hothead Russel Crowe, hockey fanatic Tim Robbins, and "Speed" demon Dennis Hopper were mobbed for autographs. "The Doors" alums Oliver Stone, Val Kilmer and Meg Ryan reunited, and Guinness fan Colin Farrell and a beardless Benicio Del Toro crammed inside as well.
Even those pesky Hiltons were there! It's a big ol' bowl o' Chow catcher! Hungry again?

The spirit of Brangelina is rubbing off on everyone! Director Oliver Stone flew to central Colombia on Saturday to oversee a mission to airlift three hostages (including a toddler), held by rebels from Colombia's jungles. Who knew Oliver Stone had
cojones of steel?!
The director met with and praised Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez -- who is leading the rescue. Stone was part of an international group of observers taking part in the plot.
Stone told reporters, "I'm hoping it works. I'm all for this," Mr Stone said. "I've never been in such a thing. I'm very proud to be a part of this." He also called the endeavor a "beautiful, great process."
Nicolas Cage couldn't hide his emotion during a reception in New York to honor police and fire fighters who died on Sept.11, 2001.

Cage was given a cross made of steel from the rubble of the World Trade Center by 9/11 survivor John McLoughlin.
Police and fire officials attended a private screening of "World Trade Center," the Oliver Stone film that opens nationally on Aug. 9.

With his girlfriends by his side, Hugh Hefner celebrated his 80th birthday at the Playboy Mansion on Saturday. Hef was decked out in his traditional silk pajamas.
Paris Hilton, Owen Wilson, Donald Trump, Farah Fawcett and Oliver Stone were all on hand to join in on the festivities.
If you've never been inside the mansion, then
check out this video -- it's everything a Playboy party should be.
