Diddy might wanna wash the bed sheets at his Hamptons mansion ... 'cause cops arrested a guy who allegedly broke into his place, slept in his bed and then ate a bunch of his food.
It all went down on April 1st -- but this was no joke -- cops say a caretaker found 30-year-old
Quamine Taylor in an upstairs bedroom and called police.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Taylor told cops he snuck into the place through an unlocked basement door and proceeded to eat food, drink Diddy's soda and liquor and then got into a bed for nearly 24 hours.

Quamine was eventually arrested for trespassing ... and later told the
NY Post he had been "going to the house from time to time since 2001 ... I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there."
Taylor's mom told the paper her son suffers from mental illness and recently went off his meds. He was arraigned on trespassing and petit-larceny charges and is currently still in custody.

Diddy was hospitalized this AM for an extreme migraine ... TMZ has learned.
The mogul hosted a post-Grammy party at the Playboy Mansion Sunday night (below). After the party, Diddy went home and got a massive headache.
Diddy's entourage became so concerned ... they drove him to the UCLA emergency room -- btw, the same place where Michael Jackson was pronounced dead.
Diddy was treated and is back at home ... feeling a lot better. A Diddy source tells us ... the migraine was unrelated to anything that went down at the Mansion.
P. Diddy's throwing a party so ridiculous every guy is getting 15 hot models to "service" them all night. There's just one tiny catch -- a FIVE figure cover charge!!

If you wanna party with
Diddy at the Playboy Mansion, you better be freakin' LOADED -- because TMZ has learned, tickets for the rapper's post-Grammys after party top out around $50,000 each.
The cheapest ticket is a slightly more affordable $1,500 and they go up from there -- $15,000, $25,000 ... all the way up to $50,000 -- depending on what services you may require at the black tie affair.
Sources connected with the party promoters tell TMZ, the $50,000 Monster Cabana ticket gets you 2 cabanas, VIP admission for 20 people, buffet dinner, open bar, free bottle service ... and 15 dedicated female promotional models.
Thankfully, it's all for a good cause -- the party's proceeds will go to benefit the Angelwish Foundation for children afflicted by HIV/AIDS.
Live Nation is firing back at the guy who sued the concert company over a taping of "
Making the Band" in 2008 -- claiming if he really did get hit in the stomach with a microphone, it's Diddy and MTV's fault ... not Live Nation's.
Live Nation filed a response to Kevin Faraday's lawsuit in New York Supreme Court -- denying its involvement with an injury
Kevin claims he suffered in the crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where "Making the Band" was being taped.
According to Kevin's lawsuit, some guy ran on stage, grabbed a microphone, and somehow hit him in the abdomen with it.
Kevin is suing a comically long list of defendants over the incident -- including Diddy, MTV, Live Nation, and about a dozen other people and companies -- but Live Nation insists they're innocent.
According to Live Nation, if Kevin did actually hurt himself ... it was probably his own fault -- but Diddy, MTV, and others also had an obligation to prevent this kind of thing from happening ... and they failed to uphold it.
Live Nation wants Kevin's lawsuit dismissed.

A guy who claims he got hit in the stomach with a microphone during the taping of an episode "
Making the Band" back in 2008 is suing
Diddy, MTV, and everyone involved with the event that day ... and we mean EVERYONE.
Kevin Faraday claims he was in the crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom that day when a guy ran on stage between acts, grabbed the mic, and (somehow) hit him in the abdomen with it.
Faraday is suing ... (deep breath) ... Diddy, MTV, Danity Kane, Day26, Donnie Klang, Cheri Dennis, "Making the Band," Bad Boy Touring, Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy FIlms, Live Nation Touring, Live Nation Family Entertainment, Manhattan Center Studio, Manhattan Center New Yorker Group, The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity, Strike Force Protective Services, John Doe and Jane Doe ... and he's seeking unspecified damages.
We reached out to MTV and Diddy for comment ... haven't heard back.

Heavy D will be laid to rest at a very private funeral ceremony in New York next Friday -- and TMZ has learned only a select number of the rapper's famous friends have been invited to attend.
We're told Heavy's family has organized a public viewing on Thursday -- and anyone who wants to pay tribute to the hip hop legend is encouraged to show up.
But the following day, the burial service is V.I.P. only -- and the invite list only includes close members of Heavy's family and dear friends, such as
Diddy,
Mary J. Blige, a few of the Wayans brothers ... and others.
We're told Eddie F and G-Whiz -- former members of Heavy D and the Boyz -- are also on the invite list.
TMZ broke the story, Heavy D passed away on Tuesday at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 44-years-old.
Diddy is on a mission to find the person who stole the numbers to his personal American Express Black Card and posted them on a web site this week ... TMZ has learned.
Earlier this week, someone who clearly has a beef with Diddy, posted copies of the rap mogul's super exclusive credit card on a website, along with his passport and private phone numbers.
The website where the info is posted seems to make a vague reference to the ridiculous rumors that Diddy is a member of the Illuminati ... a secret society rumored to run the world.
Sources close to Diddy tell us ... he is aware of the situation and has launched an internal investigation to find the person responsible.
A rep for Diddy had no comment.

Diddy claims he "backslid and regressed" when he shouted racial and homophobic slurs at a clubgoer in Atlanta this weekend ... and now the rap mogul is begging for forgiveness.
Diddy went to his Twitter page a few hours ago ... and issued an apology to his fans for the way he acted inside Compound nightclub Saturday night ... when he threw ice at a clubgoer, threatened to fight the guy ... and then called him a "n**ga" and a "f**got."
Diddy explained, "I'm sorry for the ignorant way I repesented [SIC] myself ... I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better."
He added, "I have a responibility [SIC] that I promise I will live up to. And I'm more
dissapointed [SIC] in myself than you know. I will humble myself and learn."
TMZ spoke to the man on the receiving end of the slurs,
Ricky Parker, who tells us he felt "humiliated and disrespected" by Diddy ... and claims he will no longer support the hip hop icon.
Parker tells us he couldn't believe that Diddy would attack him so ferociously, simply because he was drinking Grey Goose vodka that night and NOT Ciroc vodka, which Diddy serves as a spokesperson for.
Parker tells us, "You won't ever hear me support him from this moment forward."

Days after being released from federal custody, rapper
T.I. grabbed a mic inside an Atlanta nightclub this weekend and BEGGED
Diddy to chill out ... after the mogul threatened to get violent with a man in the crowd.
It all went down at the BET Hip Hop Awards Weekend after-party at Compound nightclub -- when Diddy, a spokesman for Ciroc Vodka, spotted someone drinking a rival liquor.
Diddy began shouting at the man, "B*tch ass n**gas ... put that sh*t down ... before I come smack that purple shirt off your ass."
It appears Diddy grabs ice and throws it at the man ... before screaming, "What the f**k are you gonna do, b*tch? F**king f*ggot ass light skin n**gas get the f*ck out of my face."
That's when T.I. -- who's still on probation stemming from a gun arrest -- grabbed another microphone and pleaded with Diddy, "I done paid enough time ... and nobody else in this motherf**ker [who is] talking about fighting done did no time."
He then told Diddy, "Let them n**gas drink what the f**k they want man."
He added, "I love you n**ga ... you know I will go to war with you, but come on man ... let's go."
The incident was captured on tape by
GrindHD.com.
T.I. is re-writing the book when it comes to welcome home parties -- because the recently-released rapper isn't throwing himself a nightclub bash ... he's having a brunch in Atlanta!
But don't expect tea and crumpets -- we're told good pal Diddy is personally shipping in 150 bottles of Ciroc, one for each person in attendance. We're told the whole bash will cost around $100K, with $20K just on food and additional $8K on dessert.
The big surprise of the night -- reps from AKOO Clothing, T.I.'s clothing line, will measure the VIP guests for custom-made clothing gifts.
It's set to go down on October 2, two days after T.I. gets released from the halfway house.
