No wonder Bradley Cooper was met with a pap crush at LAX last night.

Bradley Cooper and Renée Zellweger have finally broken up ... this according to Us Weekly.

It was like "Backdraft" ... starring Bradley Cooper and  Renée Zellweger .... when a fireplace fire got out of control Sunday night at Bradley's mom's house.


It happened in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.  Bradley, Renée and Bradley's mom were there, when the fire jumped the fireplace into the room.  Four fire trucks roared to the scene and the blaze was extinguished.

No one was hurt.

Oscar winner Renée Zellweger, 41, and TV actress Eva Longoria, 35, joined forces at the same event in Hollywood on Thursday.

Renee Zellweger got nailed today in Pacific Palisades.


For some reason Renee was visiting Bradley Cooper's new house sometime before 9 AM. Bradley hasn't even moved in yet and he was nowhere in sight.

Renee parked her Prius on the street and got out. When she eventually returned to the car at 9, she opened the driver's door to get in, when an elderly woman in a BMW almost took Renee and the door out.

Renee was unscathed but her door got nailed.

Fifteen minutes later Bradley showed up and Renee hitched a ride.

Bradley Cooper took alleged GF Renee Zellweger for a look-see at his alleged new home near the beach in L.A.



The photo was snapped near Bradley's 3335 square foot, 3 bedroom home in Pacific Palisades -- where Tom Hanks, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many other stars hang their shingle. It was listed at $4.7 mil.

Renee -- cleverly disguised as the Unabomber -- shadowed B.C.

TMZ has learned Renée Zellweger was just in a car accident in Beverly Hills.



We're told the actress is fine and there were no injuries -- her car was towed away from the scene.

At least one cop arrived on scene to help out.

It appears one of the headlights from Renée's car was shattered and one of the cars lost a license plate in the smash.

Sources close to Renée tell us, "This is not her fault. Someone made a U-turn into her."

UPDATE: Cops tell us the call came in at 11:00 AM PT -- no one was cited for the crash and there were no injuries.
