The company behind the Kardashian shoe line is adamant ... there is NO CHILD LABOR taking place in any of its China factories ... claiming it's never even been contacted by
the "agency" making the claim.
Robert Shapiro -- the famous lawyer-turned-entrepreneur who owns
ShoeDazzle -- tells TMZ ... his team has invested tons of time, energy and money to ensure the factories are operating in good standard.
One of the people who has personally visited the factories is ShoeDazzle COO Deborah Benton .... who tells us "This issue of child labor is of paramount importance to us. We've been very focused on this from the very beginning."
She adds, "Factories are routinely inspected and always pass inspection."
Benton says the company has a full-time employee -- who graduated from UCLA -- who moved his family to China ... with the specific task of checking the factories on a daily basis. Benton says she's never received a report of "slave labor" conditions.
Benton also says the company has not been contacted by the agency that allegedly conducted the investigation -- but says, "I'm more than happy to work with any organization that reaches out to us with a concern."
TMZ has learned
Lindsay Lohan has found a friendly pharmacist to fill her prescriptions in the pokey.

Sources connected with the Lynwood Correctional Facility tell TMZ ... Lindsay's prescriptions were being processed yesterday and she will be allowed to
take several drugs, including
Adderall, a psychostimulant used to treat
ADHD. She also has a prescription for
Ambien.
It's pretty ironic ... friends of Lindsay, and
Michael Lohan, tell TMZ it's the prescriptions that have gotten her into this mess in the first place. Nevertheless, doctors say the meds are justified and Lindsay will get her daily dose.
Lindsay Lohan is actually handling jail well, sources at Lynwood tell TMZ.

We're told she's "polite, compliant and responsive." She's not crying and is handling it well.
And there's good news for the newly-minted jailbird. A Sheriff's official tells us she will probably be released around August 1, after serving only 13 or 14 days. A lot better -- for her -- than 23 days behind bars and, even worse, without cigarettes.
Lindsay Lohan just surrendered in
Judge Marsha Revel's courtroom in Bev Hils, to begin her jail sentence.

A clearly upset LiLo sat and listened as Judge Revel ordered Lindsay's surrender. But before Lindsay was cuffed and taken away, the judge ordered all cameras to stop rolling.
Judge Revel made it clear -- no house arrest, and no early release. But that doesn't mean Lindsay will have to serve
the full 90 days. The Sheriff's Department will use the 90 days to compute the actual time Lindsay will have to serve, and because of overcrowding, she will only serve 25% ... 23 days.
Lindsay didn't cry. When she was cuffed she was stoic.

Outside court, LiLo's lawyer
Shawn Chapman Holley said Lindsay had "stepped up and accepted responsibility" -- and that LiLo was as scared as anyone would be who's heading to the slammer.
TMZ has learned ...
Shawn Chapman Holley is going to be by
Lindsay Lohan's side in court this morning, representing her after
Robert Shapiro bailed on LiLo.

TMZ broke the story ...
Holley quit earlier this month, because Lindsay was an uncontrollable client.
But now Lindsay is in a pinch, and Holley is stepping up.
Sources tell us Lindsay is furious at Shapiro, feeling as if he totally used her to get publicity for his sober living house. She believes that is the only reason he agreed to rep her and sold her a bill of goods.
We've learned Holley is supposed to be in court in the Juan-Carlos Cruz attempted murder case at the same time Lindsay's case is heard. We're told Holley is going to have the Cruz case delayed so she can be with Lindsay.
As for Lindsay, we're told she's terrified but on board with the plan today.
UPDATE: Holley just showed up at Lindsay's apartment.
TMZ has learned
Bob Shapiro informed the judge in
Lindsay Lohan's case, he's no longer representing her.

It is unclear who will represent
Lindsay tomorrow when she turns herself in.
We do not know why Shapiro has left the case. He said publicly he would represent Lindsay only if she agreed to jail and followed his instructions.
Interestingly,
Shawn Chapman Holley never signed the substitution of attorney form last Friday to get out of the case. So Shawn may be on the hook.
We're told tomorrow is going to be crazy!
Lindsay Lohan's lawyer had a confidential meeting with
Judge Marsha Revel this afternoon, and the D.A. didn't even know about it ... TMZ has learned.

We're told Shapiro breezed into court at around 4:00 PM and went directly into chambers.
We're assuming Shapiro is making plans for Lindsay's surrender tomorrow morning.
Lindsay Lohan might be a big fan of her new lawyer
Robert Shapiro -- but Michael Lohan sure isn't.

We caught up with MiLo yesterday and he told our photog he feels Shapiro should be appealing Lindsay's 90-day jail sentence. Michael said, "I don't know why Robert Shapiro did what he did, to be honest. If he's representing her -- ethically, as an attorney, he should have filed an appeal."
Lindsay is supposed to turn herself in to the court on Tuesday -- but Michael hopes he can get an attorney to file an appeal for Lindsay on Monday so she can get in to rehab.
Figures to be another exciting week in the life of Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan's loving birth mother Dina went to see her yesterday at the sober living home Lindsay is currently residing in -- with Lindsay's assistant and good friend Electra bringing up the rear.

Dina and friends brought Lindsay bags full of groceries -- kind of like when your mom came to visit you in the dorm in college during Parents' Weekend.

Meanwhile, Lindsay's new legal eagle
Robert Shapiro was out to dinner in Beverly Hills last night -- but remained completely mum on all things Lindsay.
Lindsay Lohan has officially hired
Bob Shapiro to represent her in her ongoing DUI probation case ... but only on condition that
she goes to jail.

TMZ broke the story earlier this week that
Shapiro was stepping in after
Shawn Chapman Holley quit. Shapiro, who repped O.J. Simpson, tells TMZ, "I have agreed to represent Ms. Lohan on the condition that she complies with all the terms of her probation, including a requirement of
jail time that was imposed by Judge Marsha Revel."
Shapiro added, "Ms. Lohan is suffering from a disease that I am all too familiar with." The lawyer's son died of a drug overdose in 2005.
Lindsay Lohan's
new legal eagle Robert Shapiro just arrived at the sober living house where LiLo was seen
checking into yesterday afternoon.

Shapiro -- who was hired in the hopes he'd save LiLo from her 90-day jail sentence -- actually owns the West Hollywood facility.
Shapiro's ultimate goal is to show
Judge Marsha Revel that Lindsay needs rehab and not jail time ... we'll see how that pans out on Tuesday when Lindsay is expected to enter the slammer.
