Dead VH1 reality star
Ryan Jenkins hanged himself on a coat rack nearly two years ago -- after he was accused of murdering his wife -- and now, the very same coat rack could be yours ... for $1,750.

And that's just the starting bid ... in an
auction hosted by a website that specializes in selling serial killer memorabilia -- like locks of
Charles Manson's hair,
Ted Bundy's tire iron, and
John Wayne Gacy's license plate.
As we previously reported, Jenkins -- who starred on VH1's "
I Love Money 3" -- was accused of brutally murdering his model wife
Jasmine Fiore back in 2009 ... and hanged himself in a motel a week later, after fleeing to Canada.
The bidding is already underway. Swing by!
Ryan Jenkins -- the reality show contestant who killed himself after he was accused of brutally murdering his wife -- was mocked ruthlessly on Halloween with a display featuring the actual coat rack he used to hang himself.

Sometime last month, the coat rack was removed from the
Thunderbird Motel room where Jenkins hanged himself, after the room's new occupant complained that the rack creeped him out and he couldn't sleep.
The manager gave the rack to a friend of his -- a friend who decided it was the perfect decoration for his Halloween party.
The friend labeled the rack as "Ryan Jenkins' Last Stop" and we're told, shockingly, it was a huge hit at the party ... with several people taking morbid photos with it like it was the Lincoln Memorial.
FYI -- For those of you with an eye for detail, that IS the same air freshener hanging from the rack in both pics.
So the question remains...
The Canadian company that allegedly did a half-ass background check on convicted girlfriend-beater and accused wife-murderer
Ryan Jenkins for the show "
Megan Wants a Millionaire" is now being sued for letting him slip through the cracks.

In the lawsuit, filed by an investigative agency called
Collective Intelligence, the agency says it was hired by the producers of "Megan" to perform criminal background checks on the show's possible contestants.
Since Jenkins was Canadian, Collective hired a Canadian company called
Straightline International to do Jenkins' background check up north. Straightline allegedly told Collective that Jenkins was in the clear -- but in fact, he had been convicted of domestic assault on a girlfriend in 2007.
After "Megan" hit the airwaves, Jenkins allegedly murdered and dismembered his wife
Jasmine Fiore -- and VH1 was forced to cancel the rest of the season, along with another show starring Ryan called "
I Love Money 3."
In the suit, filed in Illinois, Collective claims its reputation has been ruined by the Jenkins fiasco, and is suing Straightline for breach of contract, negligence and fraud ... and wants at least $50,000.
Straightline has yet to get back to us.
Ryan Jenkins' father is eager to see the letter his son wrote three days before he was was found hanged in a motel room -- so he's making a trek to Buena Park, California to check it out.
Dan Jenkins tells TMZ he's been in contact with the Buena Park Police Department since finding out Ryan
wrote a letter on his computer titled "Last Will and Testament" -- which cops called a "suicide note" -- and has set up an appointment with the BPPD to see it sometime next week.
As we first reported ... in the letter, police say Ryan never admits to murdering his wife
Jasmine Fiore -- but he does apologize to his family for all the pain he caused them.
The BPPD tells us nothing found on the hard drive changes their view that Jenkins is responsible for Fiore's murder.

Calgary Herald, "We just want the truth to be told ... It is just unfathomable to us that he could be responsible for anything that has been reported."
Meanwhile, the Buena Park Police Department obtained Ryan's hard drive this week -- the one found with his body after he hanged himself in Canada -- and are analyzing it to see if it holds any clues about Jasmine's murder.
The BPPD says Ryan is the only suspect in the case.

Buena Park Police officials tell TMZ they've now received the computer hard drive found with
Ryan Jenkins when he was discovered hanged back in August.
We're told the BPPD received the hard drive from the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police -- who found the computer in Jenkins' room in the Thunderbird Motel in British Columbia on August 23.
As we've previously reported, no suicide note was found with Jenkins -- but police tell us they hope there will be data on the hard drive that will shed new light on the murder of swimsuit model
Jasmine Fiore.
Police tell us the case could be closed within weeks.
Nearly five weeks after he hanged himself in the
Thunderbird Motel in British Columbia, friends and family will remember murder suspect
Ryan Jenkins in a private memorial.

TMZ has obtained the invitation sent out by Ryan's father,
Dan Jenkins, inviting friends and family to the service to be held October 1 in Calgary.
As we've reported, a large public memorial is scheduled for Jenkins' wife -- murdered swimsuit model
Jasmine Fiore -- on Oct. 4 in Las Vegas.
Buena Park Police tell us they're hoping to receive Jenkins' hard drive -- found with him at the Thunderbird -- from Canadian authorities within the next two weeks.
Jasmine Fiore's friends and family gathered at a ranch in Santa Cruz, CA on Sunday -- and the private ceremony was decorated with a bunch of old photos of the former model.

We're told the emotional memorial was held at the estate of
Joanna Miller -- granddaughter of
Walt Disney -- because Jasmine was good friends with Joanna's son.
We're told a larger, public memorial for Jasmine will be held on October 4 in Las Vegas.
