Sara Evans has obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband -- claiming he irreparably harmed their children by badmouthing her on
Anderson Cooper's new TV show.
Craig Schelske appeared on "
Anderson" back on September 20 -- claiming he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely accused him of being a porn-obsessed adulterer.
Sara claims the interview not only violated a temporary injunction she obtained against Craig back in 2010 -- blocking him from bashing Sara in public -- it also "caused and will continue to cause irreparable harm to the children."
On September 21 -- a day after the interview aired -- Sara filed a request for a restraining order to block Craig from making further statements about their divorce proceedings. A judge signed the order the same day.
A source close to Craig tells us, "This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down."
Sara Evans' ex-husband wants shared custody of their children ASAP -- claiming Sara places their kids in party-crazed environments when she goes on tour ... and surrounds them with drugs and alcohol.

It's the latest in the ex-couple's ongoing custody dispute, filed Wednesday in Tennessee --
Craig Schelske is gunning for 50/50 custody of their three children ... in order to "protect the children from the likelihood of substantial harm" during Sara's upcoming tour.
According to the papers, Schelske's been on tour with his country singer ex before -- and "has first-hand knowledge that the children are exposed to inappropriate conduct, spend little time with [Sara], and are placed in a party atmosphere with excessive drinking and drug use."
Schelske adds, in the past Sara has even "encouraged and condoned underage drinking."
As of now, Sara has full custody of the kids -- and she's scheduled to leave on a brand new tour in less than a month ... so he's trying to move fast. Calls to Sara's camp weren't returned.
Sara Evans' ex-hubby
Craig Schelske is on the defensive after the country singer's new man accused him of being possessed by Satan -- claiming it's all part of a smear campaign to turn his own kids against him.

Schelske (
left) filed legal docs in Tennessee recently ... asking a court to modify his 2007 child custody agreement with Evans, and it has a lot to do with the country singer's new dude
Jay Barker (
right).
In the docs, Schelske claims Barker -- a former
NFL player -- has been sending harassing text messages, like:
"Satan is controlling your thoughts and actions. You are what Jesus stood against ... The things I have seen with my own mind is a man possessed by Satan ... Away from us Satan!!!"Schelske also claims in the papers that Evans and Barker have been berating and criticizing him in front of their 3 kids.
Schelske wants the court to give him physical custody of his kids for 6 months at a time -- and to stop Evans and Barker from trashing him in front of them. Evans' reps couldn't be reached for comment.

Country singer Sara Evans has gone from Platinum plaques to mangy mullets.
The one time "DWTS" contestant is slated to perform at the the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival in Niceville, FL later this month. The southern festival says on their official
website that "Times have changed, but not the special affinity held by residents for their ever-present mullet." The festival is actually referring to a fish -- not the hairstyle.
Sara Evans must have a lot of free time on her hands -- apparently the beehive festival was booked.

Country singer Sara Evans' husband, Craig Schelske, filed court papers asking whether she was romantically involved with nearly a dozen people, including country singer Kenny Chesney, Richard Marx and her former "Dancing With the Stars" partner, Tony Dovolani.
The 118-page document was was filed in Williamson County, Tenn., as part of Evans' divorce from Schelske, and asks Evans to state under oath whether or not she admits to "an affair/sexual relationship/romantic involvement" with Chesney, Marx, Dovolani or any member of the band Three Doors Down.
Evans filed for divorce after a very public blowup between the couple in a Los Angeles restaurant in October 2006, after allegedly finding hundreds of photos on his home computer showing him nude and engaged in sex with other women. She also claims he had an affair with the family nanny.
Evans' attorney, John Hollins Sr., could not comment because of a court-issued gag order.

Although
Sara Evans and her estranged husband Craig Schleske
have called a truce to the mud slinging in their high-profile divorce, the couple's former nanny, Alison Clinton, is still waiting for her apology.
Evans has claimed in legal papers that the nanny had an affair with Schleske. Now, the nanny's friends are fighting back. They've started a website,
pleaseapologizesaraevans.com, to help clear Clinton's name.
Last week, Clinton passed a lie detector test that seems to back up her claim that she never had an affair with Schleske.
There's a demand on the site for an apology from Evans, because "No one should smear innocent people like Alison Clinton with false allegations."
According to the website, Clinton was especially shocked since "Sara had even asked Alison to be a back-up singer and dancer on her upcoming tour just weeks before."
Besides being the estranged couple's former nanny, Clinton was also Evans' personal assistant and co-president of the singer's fan club. Evans also served as Clinton's matron of honor at her July 2006 wedding to Chris Lee.
Despite Evans' accusations of infidelity, Clinton's marriage remains strong. The site adds, "While Sara's injustice likely means she will not be a part of their lives anymore, Alison and Chris know they will always have each other."
After hurling wild allegations and slinging mud every which way, Sara Evans and her estranged husband Craig Schelske have agreed to play nice -- but there is still a chill in the air.
Both parties showed up in a Nashville court to hash out some of the terms of their nasty split. When asked if he still loved Evans, Schelske replied, "Yes, I do." When Evans was asked if she shared the same feeling, the country diva said nothing.
Inside the courtroom, Sara and Craig both agreed not to air their dirty laundry in the press. They also agreed to take psychological exams, which could become a factor in the custody case -- the couple has three children.
They also agreed not to physically or verbally abuse each other. And, in a blow to Johnnie Walker, they agreed not to use "excessive" alcohol. Schelske also agreed to find a new place to live. For now, Sara will have primary custody of their kids and Craig will have visitation rights.
BREAKING NEWS:
Sara Evans' Nanny Fights Back
Each has accused the other of having affairs. Evans has also claimed Schelske is addicted to porn.

Sara Evans' explosive divorce papers named Alison Clinton as the woman her husband had an affair with. Now Alison is telling her side of the story.

Sara Evans' husband says his wife cheated on him and he found out the day before she filed for divorce.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Craig Schelske claims the day before Sara filed divorce papers, he "discovered Wife's intimate relationship with another man not her husband and an argument ensued between the parties."
Sources connected with the case tell TMZ that while they were together Schelske accused his wife of having an affair with Tony Dovolani, her "Dancing with the Stars" partner. Evans and Dovolani have both said the claim is bogus.
In his legal papers, Schelske also denies having a penchant for porn. He says, however, that on one occasion, both he and his wife "were watching adult entertainment together when their oldest child, whom they believed to be secure and asleep, entered their room...."
Schelske denies Evans' allegation that he was unfaithful during the marriage and denies there were "any sexual photographs of himself with any other women as there are no authentic photographs of husband unclothed with any sexual partner or alone except as taken by Wife or with Wife on the single occasion in which both parties participated." Schelske says he "regrets the incident but would state and show that Husband and Wife were acting as two consenting adults..."
Schelske seems to be answering Evans' claim that there are nude pictures of him in a state of arousal. Schelske appears to be conceding photos do indeed exist, but the photographer is Evans herself.
Schelske's allegations come exactly one week after Evans filed explosive divorce papers accusing him of having an affair with the couple's nanny. Evans also claims Schelske had photos of himself having sex with other women and had at least 100 nude photos of himself in a state of arousal.
Before Sara Evans accused her estranged husband of being a sex-crazed maniac, the country singer once promised to kill Craig Schelske if she ever caught him messin' around behind her back.
Back at last years premiere of the film "Walk the Line," Evans was fielding questions on her single "Cheatin" to New York's
WPLJ-FM's Scott & Todd when she was asked what her reaction would be if she ever caught her husband cheating. Evans responded, "You know, I'd kill him -- but that's never going to happen, I have a great guy." Evans then offers listeners some advice on how to deal with a cheater, saying "Give them one more chance and if they do it again, kill em!"
Evans recently filed divorce papers accusing Schelske of having an affair with the couple's nanny. Evans also claims Schelske had photos of himself having sex with other women and had at least 100 nude photos of himself in a state of arousal.

Sources involved in the nasty Sara Evans divorce case tell TMZ that Craig Schelske, Evans' estranged husband, accused her of having affairs with celebrities.
We're told while they were still living together as husband and wife, Schelske accused his wife of having affairs with country singer Kenny Chesney and other unnamed "associates in the music business." Sources also tell TMZ Schelske accused Evans of having an affair with Tony Dovolani, her partner on "Dancing With the Stars."
A rep for Evans, who did not want to be quoted by name, tells TMZ that Schelske's accusations are absurd and untrue.
In her divorce papers, Evans accused Schelske of having an affair with the couple's nanny. Evans also claims Schelske had photos of himself having sex with other women and had at least 100 nude photos of himself in a state of arousal.
As for Evan's connection with Chesney, the two singers toured together back in 2000 and 2001. Chesney was briefly married to actress Renee Zellweger in 2005. Again, Evans' rep says the two singers never had an affair. TMZ has placed calls to reps for Chesney and Dovolani for comment.
Update 7:45 p.m. ET: A rep for Kenny Chesney tells TMZ allegations are: "completely untrue. Sara was the special guest on Kenny's first headlining tour and they're friends. He would NEVER think of her like that. He's saddened by what Sara and her family are going through in this personal situation." The rep adds that if Craig truly did make these accusations Kenny is "disappointed in Craig and the media for perpetuating groundless allegations."
