Legendary hip hop producer Scott Storch is being sued by an aspiring singer ... who claims she paid Storch a ton of money to produce her album ... but he was too drugged out to get the job done.

The woman on the attack is Treena Ruberg ... who claims Storch -- who's worked with superstars like Dr. Dre, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and more -- agreed to produce 6 songs for Treena in exchange for $45,000 back in October 2011 ... $30k of which she paid up front.

According to Treena's lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Storch acknowledged he had a previous drug problem ... but insisted he was now "cured of his past problem" and would be able to deliver the tracks by the end of November.

But Treena says Storch straight up lied ... claiming he "continued to have a drug addiction and other personal problems which rendered him incapable of producing any recordings."

Now, Treena says she wants her $30k back ... plus an additional $70k for all of the out-of-pocket expenses she incurred during the process ... including plane flights, studio time and having to hire another producer.

Calls to Storch's rep have not been returned.

10:38 AM PST -- Storch tried to hide a baggie of cocaine in a trash can at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas before cops arrived ... this according to the police report, obtained by TMZ.

In the report, the arresting officer says cops fished out the baggie after receiving a tip from hotel security ... and discovered it contained 2.7 grams of blow.

Hip-hop producer Scott Storch -- a recovering drug addict -- was arrested in Vegas earlier this month for possession of cocaine ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement, Storch was arrested at a Vegas hotel around 8:30 AM on Feb. 4.

Sources tell us ... the arrest went down after an employee called police to complain that Storch wouldn't pay for his room.

When cops arrived to the scene, we're told officers discovered Storch was in possession of cocaine. Storch was hauled to a nearby police station ... where he was released on $5k bond.

Storch -- who has worked with stars like Beyoncé, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Pink and more -- famously blew a $30 million fortune after getting hooked on drugs back in 2006. He eventually checked into rehab and has been working on his recovery ever since.  

Scott was out in L.A. this weekend acting like nothing ever happened (below) -- casually joking about one of his former artists, Brooke Hogan, while smoking a cigar.

Storch would know ... the man who's worked with Dr. Dre, Snoop, Beyonce, Xtina, P!nk and more battled a HUGE cocaine addiction over the years. In fact, Storch says he blew nearly $30 million on the drug before he finally sought help and kicked the habit.

On his way into Trousdale nightclub in Hollywood last night, we asked Storch about Amy ... and he told us, "Rest in peace ... Drugs are f**ked up ... I learned my own lesson too."

The former music producer for Britney Spears, 50 Cent and Mariah Carey continues his legendary fall from grace -- Scott Storch has lost his massive Miami Mansion.

SunTrust Bank took back ownership of the home Storch defaulted on last July, buying it back at an auction on Friday for $5.5 million.

The 10-bedroom, 16-bath home was valued at around $7 million.

The bank had been trying to foreclose on Storch for months, but couldn't because he had declared for bankruptcy (it was recently dismissed).

Welcome to Chapter 13 in the Scott Storch-is-broke-again saga -- today we've learned how the once-loaded music producer now has more debt than he has dollars.

Storch filed a bunch of papers in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, revealing that Scott owes $58,077.37 to 13 creditors in 7 states.

To put this in perspective, dude's net worth was reportedly $70 million in 2006.

Storch had produced music for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Chris Brown. Now he has more in common with Suge Knight.

Trouble seems to find its way to Lil' Kim -- the freshly free felon/"Dancing" contestant just had her Bentley repo'd last year ... and now the car is at the center of a grand theft auto case.



TMZ has confirmed the ultra-expensive Bentley actually belonged to record producer Scott Storch, but here's the catch -- dude's lease ran out in '07 and he never gave the car back to the Florida-based leasing company. Instead he gave the car to Lil' Kim at some point in time.

Storch was arrested and charged with grand theft auto for failing to return the car -- and the repo company figured out that he had given it to Kim. Eventually, the repo company went to Kim's place in New Jersey and took it back.

Scott, who's currently in rehab, is set to appear in Broward County Court on May 29. We're told Kim is expected to be a witness in the case.

This one flew under the radar screen for months, but we just learned Scott Storch -- formerly a wildly wealthy music producer for the likes of Dr. Dre and 50 Cent -- has been charged with grand theft auto.

Storch allegedly leased a Bentley but never returned it after the expiration date. It took the leasing company 7 months to find it.

Storch pled not guilty in Broward County Court last Friday.

Fun Fact: Lil Kim had a Bentley repossessed back in '08 -- which just happened to be a gift from none other than Storch himself. We don't know if it's the same Bentley.

UPDATE: Storch's lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, just released this statement: "We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge. There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client."

Deadbeat beat-maker Scott Storch could be homeless just about any time -- if he's even in the country.

Storch has gone completely MIA, our sources say, and we definitely don't mean he's in Miami: SunTrust Bank is trying to foreclose on Scott's $10 million home in South Florida, according to Jose Lambiet of the Palm Beach Post. He hasn't made monthly payments for most of the year, even though he borrowed $170K from pals.

And it's not just the bank that's after him: An electric company and a security system have liens out on the house as well.

The huge McDouche that is Scott Storch got a whole lot McDouche-ier -- as it turns out he's such a deadbeat dad that a Miami Judge wants him in the slammer. And it doesn't stop there.

As if owing $46,000 in child support isn't bad enough, Storch is over $500,000 in the hole because of unpaid property taxes on his $10.5 million Miami home. To make matters worse, Storch's other baby mama says he owes $5,000 in school tuition to his 16-year-old son (Storch is 34) -- and claims they were just evicted from their Florida home.

A Miami judge has issued a pick-up order for Storch, which authorizes cops to put him in the pokey until he can be taken to court.

Tiffany, Scott Storch's yacht (listed by Rolling Stone at a cool $20 million), has just gone up for sale on eBay -- because it looks like the vampiric music producer can't pay the bills!

The 117 foot, 4-bedroom water palace is going for under $600,000 at the moment -- a huge price cut that can only be explained by this statement on the eBay bidding page: "Owner bought her and got short on money." Hmmm... Or could it be that someone exaggerated its price tag?? Naaaah.
