"
Crocodile Hunter"
Steve Irwin's son
Robert aka
baby Bob is all growed up and following in his late father's dangerous footsteps by feeding crocodiles at an Australian zoo.
Over the Easter weekend, the eight-year-old was spotted getting awfully close to some American alligators for a crowd of about 200 people in Queensland (
left) ... similar to the way his dad used to while holding him as a baby years ago (
right).
He's definitely a product of his environment.
Who needs a Barbie doll, when you've got wild snakes and iguanas to play with?!

Everyone's favorite famous precocious ten-year-old conservationist celebuspawn, Bindi Irwin, showed off her genetically predisposed fearlessness with all things slimy and creepy crawly in Australia on Tuesday.

No question about it, she's daddy's little girl.
Jungle Girl Bindi Irwin cheerily posed for a pic with a bronze sculpture depicting her late father, Croc Hunter Steve Irwin, as the rest of his family takes up the work of wrestling crocodiles and presenting wildlife for education and amusement.

A statue of the Irwin family -- including little Bobby, widow Terri and their deceased dog, Sui, -- was unveiled today at the Australia Zoo by the surviving Irwin family and Steve's father, also named Bob. November 15 was named "
Steve Irwin Day" at the zoo. Crocs rule!
Bindi also took the opportunity to unveil her wild crimped hairdo.
The world's most precocious 8-year-old just became the world's most precocious 9-year-old!

Bindi, chock full of animal magnetism, will be celebrating her birthday with a "mad celebration" at the Australia Zoo, where all kids under 14 will get in free! Plus free face painting and free rides! Crikey!
Steve Irwin was killed ten months ago while diving near the Great Barrier Reef, when a stingray barb pierced his heart.

The late Crocodile Hunter's wife and precocious daughter are stateside on a promotional tour, popping up this week on the couches of Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres.
Though Terri Irwin broke into tears on "The Tonight Show" last night when talking about super-daughter Bindi, the Crocodile Huntress gracefully recovered -- joking about putting a used tissue back into the box. "It's like double-dipping!" said Terri, "Once it touches your nose you're not supposed to put it back."
In an interview airing on Friday's
"The Ellen DeGeneres Show," hunter-with-training-wheels Bindi admits, "I just love animals ...I want him [father Steve] to be proud of me." *sniff*

Steve Irwin's choice to play him in a movie: Australian actor Eric Bana.
Irwin's best friend and producer, John Stainton, tells "EXTRA" that the late Crocodile Hunter was so impressed with Bana's performance in "Munich," he approached the actor with a prophetic request. "He raced up to Eric on the red carpet and said "Eric, you gotta promise me one thing mate ... you gotta play me when I die."
While no movie is in the works, Stainton did make this promise: "If we ever did make a movie I would have to get Eric Bana and try to honor that."
Stainton also has high hopes for Irwin's eight year-old daughter Bindi, who's
remained preternaturally poised since her father's death in September. "I said to him [Steve] before he died, 'you're gonna have to be prepared for the fact that Bindi is going to eclipse you as a star in the world,' and he said 'bring it on, bring it on.'"
According to our good friends at
Trashy Lingerie,
Nicole Kidman has snapped up a pirate costume while
Paris is aiming to do the 2006 Halloween hop as a bunny. Then there are these folks, who will need nothing more than a paper bag to put over their head.
David Letterman: Based on yesterday's performance at the Ed Sullivan Theater, Dave might want to change the

name of his production company to World Wide Rants. In an exchange with Fox News lightning rod Bill O'Reilly, the talk show host took the bait – just like comedian Al Franken and many more before him – calling his congenial guest a "bonehead" and failing to humorously deflect O'Reilly's prepared material, which touched on everything from bowling leagues to Dancing with the Stars. In so doing, Dave was guilty of one of the Top Ten Ways To Come Off Like Howard Dean: 3. Don't read a guest's book, and then proudly tell them it was because you judged it by the cover.

Less than a month after the Crocodile Hunter's memorial service, Terri Irwin and daughter Bindi appear to be moving forward -- by attending the Nickelodeon Australian Kids' Choice Awards.
The two were all smiles as they walked the "orange carpet" in their Australia Zoo outfits, filling in for
the late Steve Irwin, who was scheduled to present the "Fave Aussie" award before his death last month.
Bindi even got in on the slime action -- after giving the award to Guy Sebastian, the singer hugged the little presenter, covering her with the green gunk.

Just weeks after reports claim a cyber-squatter snatched up the rights to a website named after Steve Irwin's daughter, a close friend to the
Crocodile Hunter's family has apparently set things right.
Shortly following Irwin's
tragic death, Wayne Smith, a former volunteer at the wildlife enthusiast's beloved Australian Zoo, bought the website BindiIrwin.com, claiming he was intending to dedicate the site to the grieving 8-year-old. But instead of tributes or poems, the site reportedly contained links to several anti-Israel websites.
Now, after facing tons of harsh criticism, it seems the cyber-wrongs have finally been righted, as
Steve's friend and former manager John Stainton has officially obtained ownership of the site. Stainton has since programmed the site to automatically redirect visitors to the official website for the Australia Zoo.
Calls to John Stainton were not immediately returned.
UPDATE: TMZ has obtained a statement from Wayne Smith claiming that once he purchased bindiirwin.com, he redirected the site to a remotely hosted non-profit message board. "I did have a political forum at the board which of course contained controversial topics but I closed it. I realised [sic] that it would be in poor taste to have politics and wildlife discussions together. "

Tributes to the late
Steve Irwin are still going strong.
Following in the footsteps of Andre the Giant and Hervé Villechaize (aka Tattoo from "Fantasy Island"), Steve Irwin has been immortalized in the San Francisco Bay area with
Obey-style posters. Reminiscent of Communist propaganda posters, the Obey posters have appeared for years in urban areas throughout the world and are the mastermind of artist
Frank Shepard Fairey. The poster, featuring Steve Irwin's image, has the letters R.I.P. below his face and the word KRIKEY! in bold letters at the bottom of the poster.
TMZ is a proud member of the Steve Irwin Posse.
The widow of beloved "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin spoke about her husband in interviews yesterday for the first time since his death September 4, and a tearful Terri Irwin told Barbara Walters that she and Steve had "a romance like I didn't think existed anymore" and that even knowing the loss she would suffer, she would marry him again "in a minute."
In the sit-down scheduled to air tonight on ABC, Irwin also said that she feels "blessed" for the 14 years she spent with her husband; indeed, their honeymoon trip was chronicled in the first episode of Irwin's enormously popular show "Crocodile Hunter." And Irwin also said that she's treading the difficult days after Steve's death "one minute at a time."
In an interview on Australia's Nine Network earlier today, Terri said that she believed that Irwin believed that he would die early, but that "I'm grateful in a way, because we're prepared." And Terri said that the Irwins' premonitions of death certainly had nothing to do with sea creatures, or the stingray that eventually felled Irwin: "I thought he would fall out of a tree," said Terri. "He thought it would be a car accident."
