Connor Cruise was out in L.A. this weekend ... when he revealed his numero uno when it comes to movies with explosions ... and while Connor selected a pretty great film ... we're kinda shocked it wasn't a movie that starred his father.

Tom Cruise tested his vomit threshold yesterday in Disneyland -- spending some quality time with his 5-year-old daughter Suri ... on the infamously stomach-turning tea cup ride.

It looks like he was having fun too -- smiling and laughing ... while a Disneyland VIP hostess trips over herself to cater to his every whim.

Tom and a face-painted Suri also got on a bunch of other rides -- Storybook boat ride, merry-go-round, and the Jungle Cruise.

Xenu, himself would agree ... happiest place on Earth.

You haven't heard much about Tom Cruise's son Connor since he was adopted in 1995 -- but this weekend, he proved he's finally ready to make his own impression on Hollywood ... as a club DJ.

16-year-old Connor -- aka DJ C-Squared -- dropped the beat at some benefit event Saturday night for the American Music Awards, and we're told ... he rocked it.


On his way out of Siren Studios -- where the event took place -- Connor told us, the whole thing was "pretty crazy" ... though it's unclear if he was talking about his DJ gig, or the fact that it was raining cats and dogs in SoCal.

Tom Cruise dominated a dance battle by busting out "The Worm" and a killer split -- easily his best moves since desecrating Oprah's couch.

Tom Cruise was called out ... CHALLENGED ... on the dance floor at the wedding of a BILLIONAIRE'S SON -- but after the clash ... only one man walked away victorious.

Tom and Katie were in Palm Springs this weekend celebrating the wedding of Sandy Modic and David Ellison.

David is the executive producer on "Mission Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" ... and also happens to be the the son of Oracle CEO Larry Ellison ... the 3rd richest man in the United States.

Tom was just hangin' out when one of Ellison's friends declared DANCE WAR ... and Tom accepted.

Cops swarmed Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' block in Beverly Hills yesterday -- armed with a full arsenal of heavy artillery, including assault rifles -- and we're told ... it was all over some missing tools.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, cops were called for an alleged burglary at a nearby construction site -- on the same block as T&K -- and police descended in full force.

We're told cops paid a visit to the surrounding homes -- including the Cruises' -- but came up empty.

It's unclear how much was stolen in the heist -- or whether Tom and Katie were home at the time of the search.

Tom Cruise really put the squeeze on his wife Katie Holmes last weekend in L.A. -- copping a SNEAKY feel of her ass at a Katy Perry concert -- and TMZ has obtained the hands-on footage.

Katie got the pat-down Sunday night at Nokia Theater -- and we're told, Tom's hand remained steadfast for most of KP's performance.

Side note: never invite Tom and Katie to your party ... we're told the couple's entrance delayed the concert a solid 15 minutes.

And watch closely -- standing next to the touchy-feely couple is none other than Katy Perry's hubby ... Russell Brand. What a handful.
