Tom Hanks doesn't really speak Spanish ... but when he appeared on "Despierta America" on Univision yesterday ... he communicated in the universal language ... of dance.

Tom Hanks may have two Oscars under his belt -- but he's not too big to bust out a few lines from his "Toy Story" movies for a little kid in France. Trés bien 'Woody' ... trés bien, indeed.

Oprah Winfrey hosted some of the BIGGEST stars in the world at her STELLAR finale wrap party this week ... but at the end of the night, everyone was raving about the food!!


Tom Hanks, Jerry Seinfeld, Alicia Keys, Michael Jordan, Gayle King, Kelsey Grammer and Stevie Wonder all hit the Four Seasons hotel in Chicago Tuesday night for a party that was guarded by an army of private security.

Oprah arrived to the party around 12:30 AM and was AWESOME -- shaking hands with just about every single person at the shindig.  As for Stedman -- dude must have had the night off because he was MIA.

Now for the food -- we're told Oprah had multiple service stations offering everything from shrimp cocktail to diced lobster tails and pulled pork sandwiches.

The dessert bar consisted of O's favorite sweets -- including a "make your own cotton candy" station.

And of course, there was BOOZE -- besides an open bar serving top shelf liquor, O had a GIANT tequila station ... because Oprah loves the agave juice.

March 26 is International Tom Hanks Day -- so we thought a trip through time with the "Big" actor was a must.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are suing their former insurance broker, claiming he gauged, defrauded and embezzled them out of a fortune.



Hanks, Wilson and others claim they worked with J.B. Goldman Insurance Agency for more than 20 years, using the company to procure homeowners, directors and other business policies.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Hanks and Wilson switched brokers last month and the new broker allegedly discovered gross overcharging for various policies.

The suit claims the broker overcharged them, insured them multiple times for the same things, and engaged in a "predatory embezzlement scheme" that cost all the plaintiffs hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars.

The suit seeks unspecified damages.

Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks both took shots at NBC during the red carpet coverage ... on NBC.



Hanks' one-liner at the end takes the cake.

Tom Hanks is now officially the proud owner of a $75,000 Beatles poster, because his wife has dropped her lawsuit claiming the art was bogus.

Rita Wilson sued Melissa Pearl, claiming the poster from 1962 -- which she bought for Hanks -- never came with the proper authentication.

But Pearl anted up a doc from Sotheby's and Rita now seems satisfied. So the case is history. Long live the Beatles.

A $75,000 poster??? That's Forrest Gump money.

Peter Scolari is best known for playing Henry Desmond opposite Tom Hanks in the sitcom "Bosom Buddies." Guess what he looks like now!

Apparently using an uncommon spelling, Tom Hanks signed autographs for fans outside the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles last night.
