It's been just over a year since Troy Aikman got divorced ... but it seems the NFL legend is  back in the game ... with a smokin' hot mystery blonde.

Troy and his P.Y.T. hit up Boa on Sunset Blvd. Monday night ... where Troy and his special friend were confronted by the dreaded ROSE LADY!!! Of course, Aikman handled the situation like a pro.

So far, no word on how they met, who she is, are they official, etc.

TMZ broke the story ... Troy quietly divorced former Dallas Cowboys publicist Rhonda Worthey back in April after more than a decade together.



11:25 AM PDT -- We're told the woman is Abigail Klein -- an ex-Cowboys cheerleader. One source tells us the two are "just friends."

Troy Aikman is officially a single man ... and has been for months ... after a judge quietly signed off on his divorce back in April ... TMZ has learned.

Back in January, Troy and Rhonda Aikman announced they had separated after ten years of marriage ... but TMZ has uncovered official public records, signed by Troy, in which the Dallas Cowboys legend states that an "agreed final decree of divorce" has been issued and it lists April 12, 2011 as the day the marriage was legally terminated.

Troy and Rhonda have 2 kids together -- and back in January, they released a joint statement saying, "We remain deeply committed to our children ... during this period of adjustment"

Just a few months before the two separated, Troy and Rhonda were already divvying up the family assets.  TMZ obtained official documents which show Rhonda gave up her stake in the family mansion in Dallas last November. It's unclear if she got any compensation for taking her name off the deed ... but just a few months later, she purchased a home, also in Dallas, for roughly $1.5 mil.

TMZ called Aikman's rep for comment -- so far, no response.

Aikman shouldn't struggle too much on the dating circuit -- after all, he looks like this now ...

The temperature hit 110 degrees in Dallas this week ... and residents couldn't have been HAPPIER because the heat compelled legendary Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman to take off his shirt.

The 44-year-old Hall-of-Famer was spotted on a topless jog in his neighborhood this week ... revealing a pretty SHREDDED physique.

One resident who witnessed Aikman in action tells us, "We are experiencing the hottest week ever... the man must be made of steel."

The NFL lockout affects players, coaches and broadcasters alike -- so guys like Tony Romo, Sean Payton and Troy Aikman satisfied their football jones this weekend by playing on the beach in Florida.


The guys are all connected through the Dallas Cowboys -- Romo still plays for them, Payton used to be the offensive coordinator (now coaches the New Orleans Saints), and Troy Aikman played his entire Hall of Fame career in the Big D.

Other participants included Cowboys tight end Jason Witten and former 'Boys linebacker Bobby Carpenter.

And perhaps most importantly ... Romo's hot new wife Candice Crawford was among the spectators.

Troy Aikman is separating from his wife of 10 years ... the NFL star has announced.



The Dallas Cowboys legend released a statement earlier today saying, "This has been a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage we have decided to separate."

The statement continues, "We remain deeply committed to our children and respectfully ask that you honor our family’s privacy during this period of adjustment."

The couple has two minor daughters together ... and Rhonda has one child from a previous marriage.

Following in the rhinestone capezios of his former Dallas Cowboys teammate Emmitt Smith -- legendary QB Troy Aikman told us last night that he's officially on board for the next season of "Dancing with the Stars."



Troy was leaving Red O restaurant in L.A. when he broke the news.

It's pretty unusual for a celeb to spill the beans before ABC makes its official announcement ... so if he was being serious, there might be some hell to pay down the line.

Calls to ABC have not yet been returned.

UPDATE: Apparently, Troy was kidding ... and posted the following message on his Twitter page -- "I will not be on DWTS ... interferes with American Idol auditions."

Troy Aikman isn't disappointed that his old NFL coach Jimmy Johnson is now a pitchman for a "male enhancement" product ... he's just bummed that Jimmy hasn't hooked him up with a free sample!



The Dallas Cowboys legend was leaving STK in L.A. last night when we asked him about Johnson -- who's currently in Nicaragua to compete on the next season of "Survivor." 

Besides some friendly smack talk -- Troy also weighed in on everything from Kim K's effect on his former team ... to the Madden Curse ... and even chicken wings.
