Sue Coleman
Mary Sue Coleman (née Wilson; October 2, 1943) is the 13th and current President of the University of Michigan. In 2009, she was named one of the nation's "10 best college presidents" by Time Magazine. Currently, Coleman sits on the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson. She also serves as chair of the Association of American Universities. In July 2010, U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke appointed her as the co-chair of National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2004, Coleman began leading "The Michigan Difference", a campaign that sought to raise $2.5 billion for the University of Michigan institution. Concluding in 2008, this campaign raised $3.2 billion - the most a public university has ever raised. Formerly she served as the 18th President of the University of Iowa from 1995 to 2002.
