Inland Blazes in the Fervor of Guns N' Roses

As each band came, played, and exited the stage throughout the day of the KROQ Inland Invasion this past Saturday, the crowd began to fill the pavilion. It was as if nervous anticipation of the show's headliner dampened the crowd's reaction to fan favorites like MUSE, 30 Seconds To Mars, Rise Against, and Alice in Chains.

As 14 years of waiting for the return of Guns N' Roses was about to climax, the fans that ventured to the small California town of Devore started to rage. Fires burned upon the ridge and bottles were strewn about in true Redding Fest fashion. The clichés started with Axl arriving almost an hour after his scheduled set time. Just as the crowd began to get restless and security rushed in, the lights from the stage ignited the sky and the crowd was asked the question "Do you know where the f**k you are?", and the first chords of 'Welcome to Jungle' seemed to make the world better again.

The GN'R guys played at hit-filled set -- exactly what the crowd was hoping for. It was, however, announced today that they will be postponing US tour dates until later this year. Is the Axl of old starting to rear his ugly head? No, just getting ready to do this tour thing the right way.

Jared Leto Back on the Airwaves

Jared Leto and his band Thirty Seconds to Mars are riding high these days. The band is nominated for two awards at this year's MTV Video Music Awards and are now wrapping up their spots on the always fun Warped Tour. The last time we checked in with Leto and crew they were shilling for votes to try and win a gig at this year's Fashion Rocks concert. The voting ends tomorrow so it is still unclear if Jared will get to hit the stage with music heavyweights like Kanye and Elton John. They face some tough competition, particularly from Angels & Airwaves and the Pink Spiders. Nevertheless, win or lose that competition, one place you will see Leto is on the "mockumentary" series "the PA" on Fuse. The show follows the life of two Fuse production assistants, Josh and Dave. In an upcoming episode, the two bumblers attempt to interview Leto while he's visiting another Fuse set. Leto gives the guys some interviewing tips:

"You guys want to get a good interview with someone, you have to get up close and personal, not be afraid to get into their personal space," Leto tells Josh and Dave. But when Josh takes his advice and sits on the arm of Leto's chair to ask his questions, the peeved Leto states, "But, you don't have to rub your leg against me so much."

The exchange takes place as Jared explains that doing interviews are his least favorite part of celebrity. Well we know some of his favorite parts of celebrity like hanging at Hyde, and something tells me that the Leto's past publicity stunts I'm betting he really doesn't mind the attention that interviews can bring. You can check out Leto on the PA's premiere episode tomorrow night, Tuesday, August 15 at 10:30pm ET / 7:30pm PT.

Jared Leto's Band

Jared Leto might still be known as the teen actor/heartthrob from his days on the show, 'My So-Called Life,' but now he has the girls screaming for a different reason - his hot rock band, 30 Seconds to Mars.

After years of hard work, the band is headlining sold-out shows and has their videos featured on MTV.com.

See Jared talk about his new record, his new movie "Chapter 27" (featuring Lindsay Lohan), and the dramatic diet trick that shed the pounds after he gained weight for the film.
