98° Singer Jeff Timmons has escaped being convicted of DUI charges stemming from a traffic stop in Cocoa Beach, Florida earlier this year. His attorneys entered a plea of no contest to the amended charge of reckless driving, thus avoiding the need for a trial.
His attorney, Michael T. Donnelly stated, "In light of the facts, we consider the negotiated plea of reckless driving to be a fair resolution in this case."
Timmons, who gained national exposure as a founding member of the hit band 98°, is currently on work on a new solo record.

4) Guenevirre Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Why did Bethany Joy's last name change from "Lenz" to "Galeotti"?
"One Tree Hill" sweetheart Bethany Joy Lenz, who plays the lovable Haley James Scott on the WB's hit show, has recently been spotted sporting another surname: Galeotti. Back on January 1, 2006 she and musician boyfriend Michael Galeotti tied the knot and made it official. 5) Mudge Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What's going on with love birds Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams from "The Notebook"? They had such a great on-screen chemistry but what's it like off screen? I never see any pictures of them or status of their relationship. Are they really dating?
Ryan and Rachel have continued their on-screen romance off the screen. Nothing has suggested any type of breakup. (Take a look at some pics of the two together!) However, they do spend time apart from one another to tend, once again, to their professional lives. At the end of July, Rachel will be working on the drama "Marriage." Meant to take place in the 1940's, a husband would rather plan out his wife's death than put her through the humiliation of a divorce. Ryan, on the other hand, is working on a number of projects - "Fracture" being one of them. In this flick, Ryan is the assistant DA who tries to bring justice to a man who attempted to murder his wife. Production for this movie has wrapped but the release date has not yet been set. 6) Chaniel Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Why did 98° break up in the first place?
Contrary to what may seem like a break up, the pop band 98° has not separated. They are currently taking a break from their union as one, allowing for some bandmates to pursue solo careers and personal lives. Nick Lachey's second album "What's Left of Me" has taken off and is doing well (it peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200), while brother Drew Lachey is focused more on life at home. Since winning ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," Lachey and wife Lea Dellecave gave birth to their first child, a girl. Although Jeff Timmons has had a run-in with the law, he did put out an album in 2004 entitled "Whisper That Way." Last but certainly not least, Justin Jeffre went political and ran for mayor of Cincinnati, but was not elected. Don't count the boys out yet - they'll be back in the limelight in no time.

People vs. Michelle RodriguezTHE ALLEGATION: Michelle Rodriguez violated her probation for a hit and run and drunk driving incident in LA when she was arrested in December for suspicion of drunk driving in Hawaii. Rodriguez was sentenced to five days in jail for the Hawaii incident and had to return to Los Angeles to face the probation violation charges.
THE CHARGES: Violating probation for hit and run, drunk driving and driving with a suspended license in Los Angeles.
THE STAKES: Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail, ordered to check into an alcohol rehabilitation program and perform 30 days of community service, including participating in programs run by Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Her probation has been extended for three more years to June 2009.
THE STATUS: Rodriguez will be taken into custody on Thursday May 25 at 8:30 am to begin her 60-day sentence.

People vs. Naomi CampbellTHE ALLEGATION: Naomi Campbell's housekeeper, Ana Scolavino, alleges Campbell threw a cellphone at the back of her head after she accused Scolavino of stealing clothes when she couldn't find a pair of jeans she wanted to wear for an appearance on 'Oprah.' Scolavino claims to have suffered lacerations that required four staples. Campbell has denied any wrongdoing in the incident, claiming Scolavino was attempting to retaliate after being fired.
This is the third time an employee of Campbell's alleges to have been assaulted by the supermodel. In one case, Campbell plead guilty and was ordered to take anger management classes. In the other case, Campbell denied the allegations and no charges were filed.
THE CHARGES: Assault in the 2nd degree.
THE STAKES: Two to seven years in jail.
THE STATUS: Campbell was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court on June 27, 2006.

People vs. 'Soprano' Lillo Brancato Jr.THE ALLEGATION: Lillo Brancato Jr., who played an aspiring mobster on the 'Sopranos', and his friend Steven Armento were charged with the murder of off-duty NYC police officer, Daniel Enchautegui. Prosecutors believe Brancato and Armento were in the midst of breaking into a Bronx apartment when Enchautegui confronted the duo in an alley. A shootout ensued and Enchautegui was killed, but not before he shot Brancato twice. Prosecutors believe Armento was the one who actually shot Enchautegui, while Brancato's lawyer claims his client did not know Armento had a gun. Both Brancato and Armento pleaded not guilty.
THE CHARGES: Murder in the 2nd degree, first degree burglary, weapon possession.
THE STAKES: Life without parole.
THE STATUS: Next court date is July 11, 2006.

People vs. 'Soprano' John VentimigliaTHE ALLEGATION: 'Sopranos' star John Ventimiglia was pulled over on May 1 near his Brooklyn home after police officers spotted his car weaving into oncoming traffic with no headlights on. Officers claim he was unsteady on his feet, had bloodshot eyes and reeked of alcohol. Police allegedly found a bag with cocaine residue on the actor. Ventimiglia plead not guilty.
THE CHARGES: DUI, criminal possession of a controlled substance, reckless driving, improper headlights and operating outside of the lane.
THE STAKES: Up to one year in jail.
THE STATUS: Next court date is June 12, 2006.

People vs. Jeff TimmonsTHE ALLEGATION: Former 98 Degrees singer Jeff Timmons allegedly violated his probation stemming from a DUI conviction in Riverside County, California when he was arrested for DUI and driving with a suspended license in Florida on April 23. Timmons has plead not guilty.
THE CHARGES: DUI and driving with a suspended license in Florida which could violate probation from a California DUI conviction.
THE STAKES: Up to 15 months in jail for the Florida charges.
THE STATUS: Timmons is due in a Florida court on May 30, 2006. California's Riverside County District Attorney's Office says it will wait until the Florida case is complete before they decide if they are going to move forward with the probation violation charges which could add on another year in jail.

People vs. Leif GarrettTHE ALLEGATION: Former 70s teen idol Leif Garrett violated his probation when he dropped out of a drug rehabilitation program. Garrett was arrested for subway fare evasion in January and later charged with heroin possession when drugs were found on him. Two months later he was taken back into custody after testing positive for drugs, a violation of his probation.
In March 2005 Garrett plead guilty to attempted possession of cocaine and was placed on probation.
THE CHARGES: Violating probation stemming from separate heroin and cocaine possession charges.
THE STAKES: Garrett was sentenced to 90 days in jail and has to stay clean throughout his three-year probation.
THE STATUS: Currently serving his 90 days.

Former 98 Degrees band member Jeff Timmons was busted April 23 for alleged drunk driving and driving without a valid license.
Timmons, who sang alongside Nick and Drew Lachey in the popular 90s boy band, was pulled over by deputies from the Brevard County, Fla. sheriff's office for going 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, after he left a celebrity softball game.
