British actor Chris Langham was sentenced in England today to 10 months in jail for downloading "horrific" child porno videos from the Internet. Last month, a jury of seven men and four women found Langham guilty on 15 charges.
Maidstone Crown Court Judge Philip Statman said one of the children in the video was about eight years old, while others ranged from 11 to 13. "All have had inflicted upon them horrifying sexual abuse and I want to make this absolutely clear to you, I must first think of those children. They are too young to consent."

The BBC and the Church of Scientology are feuding over a scheduled TV special -- and their battle has spilled onto the web.
The latest assault comes from Scientology, famous for celebrity members like John Travolta and Tom Cruise. A video of BBC reporter John Sweeney losing his cool while talking with Scientology spokesman Tommy Davis hit the net over the weekend. Sweeney is speaking to Davis in a calm, normal tone when he suddenly starts SCREAMING at the top of his lungs! Quite random.
Sweeney, who has been working for months on a BBC special scheduled to air tonight, had been in a previous tiff with Davis. When Sweeney began a Davis interview with the line, "Some people say it's a sinister cult," Davis took umbrage -- and who can blame him? -- but at least he did so without screaming!
"If you are interested in becoming a TV journalist, it is a fine example of how not to do it," Sweeney said on the BBC website. "I look like an exploding tomato and shout like a jet engine and every time I see it, it makes me cringe." Well said, John.

Richard Branson has unveiled images of his upcoming Virgin Galactic spaceliners and we have only one word for these spaceships: swanky.
The specially-outfitted SpaceShipTwo vehicles are designed to seat six passengers and two pilots. The craft will be hauled into launch position by a massive carrier craft called the WhiteKnightTwo.
For $200,000 you can buy a ticket for the two and a half hour flight and soar 68 miles above Earth. No word on whether or not you get to keep your space uniform as the ultimate souvenir or what type of meals will be served.
Fortunately for those of us who don't have wads of cash lying around, Virgin is in talks with the BBC and ITV over a proposed "Astronaut Idol"-type show. Six contestants from around the world will compete for a spot on SpaceShipTwo.
The only problem we can foresee is what to do if they lose your luggage??

Former Spice Girl and Current Mrs. Hottest Soccer Player in the World, Victoria Beckham, has been developing a TV fashion show with her manager Simon Fuller.
The BBC reports that Fuller, one of the masterminds responsible for the hit shows "Pop Idol" and "American Idol," says, "It will be more serious than a reality show but will still be entertaining because Victoria is so funny." We knew Victoria had been modeling and creating a fashion line, but who knew Mrs. Beckham had a funny bone.
Beckham isn't the only former Spice Girl who is getting the Simon Fuller TV treatment. The super-manager is also planning a sitcom for Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice.
TMZ is eagerly awaiting a very special Beckham Fashion where Victoria and David do each others hair. That's true love.
